Alisha's POV:

As the days turned into weeks, college life settled into a comfortable routine, and it almost felt like we were still attending school rather than embarking on a new chapter of our lives.

While part of me found comfort in the familiarity of our daily routine, another part longed for something more, something to break the monotony of our everyday existence.

It was Wednesday afternoon, and I found myself confined to my room, nursing a viral fever that had me feeling under the weather.

As I scrolled through my phone, trying to distract myself from my discomfort, my thoughts drifted to the nature of our college experience thus far.

Mixed emotions swirled within me, a blend of amusement and frustration at the lack of excitement in our lives.

Suddenly, my train of thought was interrupted by the shrill ring of my phone, signaling an incoming call from Nandani.

With a groan, I answered the call, bracing myself for whatever she was about to share.

"Hey, Alisha!"

Nandani's voice came through the line, crackling with excitement.

"You won't believe what just happened!"

I couldn't help but chuckle at her enthusiasm, knowing that whatever she had to say was bound to be entertaining.

"Let me guess, did Rohan finally propose to you?"

I teased, unable to resist poking fun at her latest crush.

But Nandani didn't miss a beat, her excitement palpable even through the phone.

"No, silly!" she exclaimed.

"Our college is organizing a fresher's party this Sunday!"

My heart skipped a beat at the news, the prospect of a party breathing new life into the dreary monotony of our college days.

With a surge of excitement, I pushed aside thoughts of my fever, my mind already racing with ideas for what promised to be a night to remember.

"Aab yeh hoi na koi baat!"

I exclaimed, unable to contain my excitement.

"We have to start planning right away. Come over early so we can get everything ready!"

As I hung up the phone, a sense of anticipation filled me, the prospect of a night filled with music, laughter, and new experiences lighting a fire within me.

Despite my fever, I couldn't wait to dive headfirst into the excitement of the upcoming fresher's party, ready to make memories that would last a lifetime.

Siddhart's Pov:

As I sat lost in my class, my gaze fixed on Alisha's keychain, I couldn't shake the feeling that my words had indeed come true.

It had been weeks since I last saw her in the cafeteria, and despite my hopes that our paths might cross again, fate seemed determined to keep us apart.

Lost in my thoughts, I was jolted back to reality by the arrival of my teacher, who announced the upcoming fresher's party with an air of excitement.

As she spoke, my classmates buzzed with anticipation, eager to sign up for various responsibilities as the seniors of the college.

Glancing around the room, I noticed many of my friends eagerly volunteering for different tasks, their excitement palpable.

Even Rohan was quick to add his name to the list, a mischievous grin playing on his lips as he caught my eye.

"Come on, bhai, aren't you going to sign up?"

he teased, nudging me playfully.

"Who knows, maybe you'll finally get to see your mystery girl at the party."

I rolled my eyes at his teasing, though a small part of me couldn't help but hope that he was right.

Maybe the fresher's party would be the opportunity I had been waiting for, a chance to see Alisha again and, perhaps, finally muster the courage to speak to her.

With a sense of determination, I added my name to the list, silently vowing to make the most of whatever opportunities the party might bring.
