Snowflakes slowly fell in the bright light of worm sunset, melting on my raven hair and brown coat. My steps were painful, since I was dragging my legs through a big lair of snow, my midnight blue eyes watching the worm colors shading across the sky. But even if every step was a hard and timeless one, I couldn't stop now. Not till I see him.

There were not much people in this part of town - well it was quite obvious, since it was Christmas day and I was walking on a road, which lead up the nearby hill. I could see my neighborhood from above; lights were turn on in every single house, while the air was filled with happy cheers of Christmas joy. It was quite nice, being alone and experiencing this spectacular evening like this. Watching how snow fell in large volumes across the endless sky made me feel invincible – I really have no clue why, but I loved the miracles of nature.

Plus, I won't be completely alone,

My mind reminded me when I reached the top of the hill. I was exhausted, clearly will have to work on that. It could damage my wrestling skills. But I had no time to think of that; my eyes examined the surface around me, sparkling with hope of seeing him near. I just hope I didn't leave him freezing his ass outside for too long. I stood still for a second, pushing my wet hair behind my ears, while I tightened my scarf around my neck. Not willing to admit, but it was freaking cold up here – not to say, the lair of snow was a lot bigger than I anticipated.

My feet started to move again, carefully now, until I saw the cracked tree, completely alone up here. I sighed of happiness, knowing, this was the right place. The view behind it was amazing. Sunlight brushed across the broken branches, while the thin lair of snow above it was sparkling.

And that's where my heart skipped a beat – again. I started trembling, since my fragile body was hopelessly freezing, plus my eyes came across a much known figure, leaning onto the tree. He wore dark clothes, snow sparkling I his raven hair. He was too far away to see his pale face, those beautiful features up close. But I could see his head turning around, those azure eyes scanning my body.

He looks so beautiful.

My mind was spinning by the time we exchanged our gazes of affection, heart willing to burst out and fly into the sky. I felt butterflies awaking in my stomach as I made my way closer to him. Raven hair blocking my vision, I couldn't help but to feel anxious with every gaze his eyes devoted to me. Snow lending on my nose, I eventually stood in front of him, possibly to collapse from anxiety, while he eyed me with that fearless lust placed I his endlessly ocean-blue eyes.

CHRISTMAS EVENING, ONE DAY BEFORE

''You have got to be kidding me, right?'' Erens sharp voice echoed in my head, while I swore he looked like, his head will burst into the ceiling.

But I couldn't blame him.

I, Mikasa Ackerman, had just done the stupidest decision in my life. Even more stupid than the time, when people say our planet is 2014 years old. Like, come on – where the fuck do you live? But that's not the point. The reality of the situation was yet scary, no, daunting then I at first predicted.

I so wanted to sink into the couch I was just stretching in, as Eren had too much energy in him to sit around. His face was tomato red, eyebrows harshly frowned, as his eyes sparkled in a mysterious way, even I couldn't decipher. I've never seen him this pissed, plus it was Christmas Eve. He usually looked so happy and filled with the Christmas joy, even I couldn't help but to lough at his funny statements. Eren adored, well... he worshiped Christmas, as I did New Years.

So this was clearly the most stupid time in all the history and in any way possible to pick – I, the 'joy-killer' had just give him the hint, that maybe Levi will come to our party.
