WITH CLINT CONTROLLING THE QUINJET and Marta preparing the various weapons she had learned to use, Steve kissed Marta in front of Clint and Natasha and jumped down onto the roof of Helen Cho's lab. "Two minutes. Stay close." Steve instructed, but no one answered him. Natasha wasn't too surprised at the affection between Marta and Steve, but Clint was stunned into silence.

"Pay attention to the jet and not my relationship." Marta said casually, listening through the comms for any sign that Steve needed her help.

"So it is a relationship?" Natasha teased, Marta rolling her eyes.

Marta dug around in her pocket, finding a small piece of paper folded into her uniform. Marta smiled instantly as she read the note on Steve's scrawly handwriting that hadn't changed in over seventy years. 'I love you, sweetheart — Steve ' It was just like it was back during the war, and Marta relished the feeling of nostalgia and comfort Steve's note gave her.

A few moments later, the three Avengers listened to the urgent conversation Steve held with a wounded Dr. Cho. "Did you guys copy that?" Steve asked rapidly.

        "We did." Clint responded.

"I got a private jet taking off across town, no manifest. That could be him." Natasha said, working behind Marta and Clint to find Ultron.

Marta scanned the area below the jet for something to shoot at, finding something that caught her eye. "There. It's a truck from the lab. It's right above you, Steve. Driving on the loop by the bridge," Marta readied the controls of a machine gun. "I got three with the Cradle, one in the cab. I could take out the driver in ten seconds." she relayed her information.

"Negative! If that truck crashes, the gem could level the city. We need to draw out Ultron." Steve instructed quickly, and Marta rolled her eyes.

Marta kept on eye on the truck. "Good luck with that." she watched Ultron blast Steve out of the truck, sighing quietly.

"Well, he's definitely unhappy! I'm gonna try and keep him that way." Steve panted, gathering the strength to confront the robot once more.

"You're not a match for him, Cap." Clint said, keeping the jet in the air. Marta smacked Clint's arm, narrowing her eyes at him.

"Thanks, Barton." Steve sighed, attempting to go after Ultron. It wasn't working, and Steve and Ultron fought on top of a truck. As Marta watched the scene go down, she pushed her pistols into her utility belt, pulling her hood on over her braids.

"Drop me out." Marta instructed, walking away from Clint.

"What? How the hell are you going to take down Ultron?" Natasha asked, standing.

Marta put her mask on. "Guess we'll find out." she shrugged, and Natasha rolled her eyes, hitting a button and opening the hatch in the bottom of the quinjet, Marta dropping from the sky.

She tucked her head and rolled to absorb the impact, quickly standing and running with her enhanced speed to get to the truck with the cradle. "I'm always picking up after you boys." Natasha said suddenly, appearing beside Marta on her motorcycle. She leant down and grabbed Steve's shield that he had lost, passing it to Marta.

"Find the truck!" Marta instructed, jumping onto a car with Steve's shield in her grip, listening to the directions Clint gave through the comms. She jumped on car after car, running along the tops of trucks with Natasha following, eventually laying eyes on him.

Steve was being held over the edge of the truck with his throat in Ultron's grip, unaware that Marta was almost there. Marta jumped onto the pavement, whistling to get Steve's attention. When he looked down at her, she tossed the shield up, Steve using it to break free from Ultron. Using Ultron's distraction to his advantage, Steve extended his arm and Marta used it to land on the truck, kicking Ultron back as he forced a blockade, and Natasha had to drive in another direction.

The robot blasted the super-soldiers again, and Steve held Marta close as cars were flipped and the ground was removed, making it nearly impossible to run with stability. Marta and Steve landed on the truck once more, the two squaring up against Ultron as Clint tried to draw the guards out. As he shot at Ultron, Marta grabbed her own gun, pelting Ultron with more bullets. "Clint, they're coming at you." Marta warned the spy about the cradle, Ultron knocking her off the truck.

Crashing into the windshield of a car, Marta ignored the searing pain she felt, standing and running after the truck once more. As Steve pushed Ultron into a train, Natasha drove up beside Marta. "Need some help?" the assassin teased, her motorcycle speed matching Marta's running speed.

"Get in the truck." Marta rolled her eyes.

"We're going in. Cap, can you keep him occupied?" Natasha asked Steve over the comms, following Marta back towards the truck.

"What do you think I've been doing?" Steve panted, preparing to fight Ultron once more.

Marta ran and jumped into the truck with Natasha behind her, her blue eyes widening when she saw the figure inside the Cradle. "What the hell is that?" she asked as Natasha tried to override the system that Ultron had taken over.

Before her question could be answered, the truck lifted into the air, Marta and Natasha tumbling to the ground as they fought to stay in the truck. "The package is airborne. I have a clean shot." Clint spoke, unaware that Natasha and Marta hadn't left yet.

"Bad idea. We're still here." Marta said, pulling herself to her feet as Natasha prepared the cradle.

"What the hell are you...?" Clint sighed in disbelief.

"Just be ready. We're sending the package to you." Natasha instructed, Marta pulling a sticky bomb out of her belt.

"How do you want me to take it?" Clint asked.

Natasha and Marta shared a look. "Uh, you might wish you hadn't asked that." Natasha settled on saying.

"Don't wait for us. Once you get the cradle, get the hell out." Marta said as Clint flew the jet up to the truck.

Natasha unclipped the Cradle with Marta's help. "Nat, Marta, we gotta go." Clint urged.

Marta attached her bomb to the wall of the truck, setting the timer and helping Natasha begin to push the Cradle into the waiting jet. As they were in the air, almost safely into the quinjet, Ultron appeared, grabbing onto Natasha's ankle and tugging her out of the truck. In a panic, Natasha reached out for something, anything to hold on to. That something was Marta's leg.
