MARTA SHOWED UP TO THE hanger, annoyed, with Steven was in her arms. She wasn't supposed to have to go anywhere, so Marta figured it would be fine if she had her son with her. As she walked to find Sam, her brother suddenly appeared beside her. "Hi, Uncle Bucky!" Steven said excitedly, Marta frowning.

"What are you doing here?" she asked her brother, passing her son over to him.

"I'm talking to Sam. What are you doing here?" Bucky countered, Steven hugging him excitedly.

Marta rolled her eyes, a backpack on her shoulder. "I'm working." she said. If Marta knew where this work would lead her, she would've turned around and ran home.

Bucky followed Marta through the hanger, watching with satisfaction as she ripped down a poster of Walker, both of them searching for Sam. "Shouldn't have given up the shield." Bucky said as soon as they laid eyes on Sam, Marta looking at him out of the corner of her eye.

Sam sighed, looking up. "Good to see you too, Buck. Hey, Marta." Sam walked down a flight of stairs, able to tell his conversation with Marta wasn't going to be pleasant.

Marta and Bycky fell in step with Sam after he said hello to his nephew. "This is wrong." Bucky continued.

"Hey, hey, look, I'm working, all right? So all this outrage is gonna have to wait." Sam said as they walked.

"You didn't know that was gonna happen?" Marta pointed at another poster of John Walker as Captain America, trying to picture Steve's voice in her head and calm herself down.

"No, of course I didn't know that was gonna happen. You think it didn't break my heart to see them march him out there and call him the new Captain America?" Sam asked as he looked between the brother and sister.

Steven nuzzled himself in Bucky's neck. "This isn't what Steve wanted. This isn't what he intended," Marta said, surprised that Sam didn't already know this. "He supported you when you put it in the museum, but he doesn't support this."

Sam rolled his eyes. "Oh, my God. So, what do you want me to do? Call America and tell 'em I changed my mind? Huh?" Sam questioned, the three walking through the hanger. "Yeah, right. It's a great reunion, buddy, be well." Sam spoke to Bucky, patting him on the back.

"You had no right to give up the shield, Sam." Bucky passed Steven back to Marta, the mother letting her son walk, holding his hand tightly.

Sam stopped walking. "Hey. This is what you're not gonna do. You're not gonna come here in your overextended life and tell me about my rights. It's over, Bucky. Besides, we have bigger things to deal with now." Sam gestured to himself and Marta.

Marta furrowed her brows, looking to where Sam pointed, surprised to see both a plane and a small fighter jet on the runway. "Who the hell is 'we'?" Marta asked, confused and concerned.

"And what could be bigger than this?" Bucky questioned.

Sam looked at Marta. "You're coming with me. Where's your stuff?" Sam wondered, now also confused.

Marta picked Steven up when he asked for her. "At home, because I was just supposed to check in with you. Hayes never said I was going with you." Marta spoke as she grew even more upset.

"I was told you were. Hayes is over there, if you want to talk to him." Sam pointed to the colonel, and Marta sighed, walking over to her new boss, whom she hated.
