ఌ 𝟤𝟢𝟣𝟧, 𝗌𝗈𝗄𝗈𝗏𝗂𝖺 ఌWHILE ULTRON SPOKE TO NATASHA, Marta was unconscious. Upon escaping with the two women, Ultron had dragged Marta straight into the aftermath of the truck's explosion. She would wake up and heal from her injuries, but it would take time. Luckily, her flame resistant suit eliminated the burns that would have scorched her body. Natasha was terrified that they would never escape Ultron's prison, so she tried to contact Clint in ways that Ultron wouldn't be able to detect.
It worked.
Marta woke up moments before Bruce arrived at the two women's prison cell, and Natasha tried to catch her up as quickly as she could. Bruce appeared, calling them by their names. "Bruce?" Natasha stood up, tugging Marta to her feet.
Bruce exhaled when he saw Natasha and Marta. "You two alright?" he asked, putting his hand to the metal gate.
"Yeah." Natasha said quickly, unable to look away from Bruce.
"Easy for you to say, you're the bitch who dragged me with you into an explosion." Marta said, cracking various bones in her body out of discomfort.
Bruce paid attention to Natasha more than Marta. "The team's in the city, it's about to light up." he said quickly, and Marta instantly thought of Steve. She hoped he didn't worry about her too much.
"I don't suppose you found a key lying around somewhere?" Natasha joked half-heartedly.
Bruce stepped away from the cell, holding up an alien rifle. "Yeah, I did." Natasha and Marta clung to the wall beside them as Bruce blasted the lock, Marta pushing the gate aside with ease.
The two women stepped out of the cell. "So, what's our play?" Natasha asked.
"I'm here to get you two to safety. Cap's orders." Bruce said, and Marta almost smiled at the care Steve held for her wellbeing.
"The job's not finished." Marta said. One more fight. That's all she had to make it through.
"We could help with the evacuation, but I can't be in a fight near civilians. And you've done plenty. Our fight is over." Bruce walked closer to Natasha, and Marta could tell he wasn't talking to her anymore.
Natasha seemed to forget about a confused Marta's presense. "So, we just disappear?"
As the three Avengers began to escape Ultron's lair, the Earth started shaking, as if the entire city was being ripped from the ground. "We gotta move." Bruce said far too calmly for Marta's comfort.
"You're not going to turn green?" Natasha asked as Marta continued searching for the exit Bruce had entered through.
"I've got a compelling reason not to lose my cool." Bruce's words made Marta grimace, uncomfortable with the whole situation she was forced to be near to.
"I adore you," Natasha said, and all of a sudden, she was kissing Bruce. Marta's mouth fell open, turning away quickly. "But I need the other guy." Marta turned to see Natasha pushing Bruce down into Ultron's factory, and her eyes were wide as the Hulk landed before the two women.
