MARTA FLEW TO GERMANY WITH ease, her jet right beside Bucky and Sam. Steven was in awe of his mother's work and was doing a very good job following Marta's rules. His face was in a constant state of amazement, and Marta kissed his head from where he sat in her lap. "You doing good, angel?" Marta asked, following the coordinates Sam gave her.

Steven nodded, enjoying himself too much to answer. "You there, Marta?" Sam asked, connecting his comm to Marta's.

"Yeah." Marta answered, not in the mood for an in-depth conversation.

"Tell your brother to stop staring at me." Sam said as he prepared to drop out of the plane.

Marta rolled her eyes. "You'll get used to it," she said. "Is there a plan here? Or are we just being trigger-happy?" Marta questioned, hearing Bucky laugh in Sam's face.

Sam ignored her and jumped out of the jet in his suit. Steven's eyes widened and he pointed at Sam, Marta smiling at him. "Where's Uncle Bucky?" Steven asked, Marta following Sam, putting the jet in stealth mode.

Bucky jumped out of the plane. "Being an idiot. Don't be like Uncle Bucky." Marta said with an eye roll, seeing her brother fall through a forest.

Marta hovered in the air for a while, tuning out Bucky and Sam's conversation, because she really didn't care in the slightest. "You've been strangely quiet for a while. Would you like to contribute to the mission?" Sam asked through the comms a long while later.

Marta rolled her eyes and tucked her braided hair under her hood. "No, I would not. You two are acting like children, and I have enough children. I see seven very strong people." Marta answered, ending Bucky and Sam's argument.

"How can you see all the way up there?" Sam asked in slight amazement.

"I'm not 'all the way up there', and I can hear them, because I am a super-soldier," Marta said monotonously, her invisible fighter jet small and easily maneuverable. She was right above the building Sam and Bucky were in and they had no idea. "Would you like me to follow the trucks they're in?" she asked, exasperated.

"They have a hostage." Bucky said in response, he and Sam starting to follow the vehicles, Marta already way ahead of them.

Marta rolled her eyes. "That wasn't even close to answering my question," she said to her brother, watching as he raced after the trucks. "Oh, and now you're jumping around like a goddamn monkey."

Steven looked up at her. "Mama, that's a bad word." he said, wagging his finger at his mother.

She just smiled lightly, kissing Steven's head again as he relaxed against her, holding his dinosaur. "They're stealing medicine. Vaccines." Bucky updated Marta and Sam.

"Want me to take out the drivers? Easy shot." Marta asked Sam, getting erie flashbacks to the day Thomas died, when he wanted to take out the drivers of Zola's train and she wouldn't let him.

"No," Sam answered firmly, and Marta rolled her eyes. "Bucky, talk to us. What's goin' on?" Sam questioned Bucky.

"Found the hostage." Bucky said, proceeding to ask the hostage if she was okay, only to be kicked into the windshield of the other truck, Marta's eyes widening.

Marta watched as the hostage pulled on a Flag Smashers mask, and once Bucky was pulled to the top of the truck by other members of the organization, she started shooting. But Bucky was being triple-teamed, and there was only so much Marta could do without hurting him. She shot electrifying nets, but the obvious super-soldiers just shrugged them off. "Oh, fuck." Marta blurted out, her son knowing enough to not comment on her language.
