SUDDENLY, AS MARTA, STEVE AND Natasha were looking out at the atmosphere as Sokovia flew higher and higher in the sky, a voice spoke through the comms. "Glad you like the view, Romanoff. It's about to get better," Nick Fury spoke, a large S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarrier flying into view, stunned expressions on the Avengers' faces. Marta pulled her mask down, having never seen a helicarrier in person before. "Nice, right? I pulled her out of mothballs with a couple of old friends. She's dusty, but she'll do." Fury continued.

Steve smiled, realizing that they could save the Sokovians now. "Fury, you son of a bitch." he remarked, Marta cracking a light smile.

"Ooh! You kiss your mother with that mouth?" the former director retorted, fellow agents, Maria included, preparing to deploy lifeboats to the Sokovian civilians.

Pietro sped over to the scene, watching a squadron of lifeboats fly towards the rock. "This is S.H.I.E.L.D?" he asked with a thick accent.

"This is what S.H.I.E.L.D.'s supposed to be." Steve corrected, his hand on the small of Marta's back.

Pietro smiled. "This is not so bad."

The first lifeboat began to descend towards the flying city's rocky surface. "Let's load 'em up." Marta said, already moving to collect refugees and send them to the helicarrier.

As Ultron's robots continued to attack the Avengers, more help came. Rhodey flew in, taking down drones in the sky with Tony so the others could evacuate civilians safely. A lifeboat landed, agents emerging to help collect Sokovians. Marta led a large group of people to the boat, her hood and mask down so she didn't frighten the children. Marta turned to destroy a robot, covering two young boys with her arms so her body absorbed the impact of her bombs. The lifeboat traveled back to the helicarrier after Marta found the parents of the boys, reuniting their family.

Tony had a plan, he announced briefly over the comms. "Avengers, time to work for a living." he cracked, the team gathering in the old church that was centered in the city.

Marta wasn't a fan of the twins by any means, especially not after what Wanda had made her see in her visions, but they were young, and they had made mistakes. Marta couldn't hate them for what they had done under Hydra's eye and Ultron's manipulation. "You guys alright?" Marta checked on the brother and sister.

They both nodded. "I'm sorry. For what we did to you." Wanda spoke solemnly, ashamed to look Marta in the eye.

"Yes. It was wrong." Pietro added. For whatever the reason, Pietro reminded Marta a lot of Thomas. There was just something about him that made Marta want to protect both him and his sister.

Marta nodded. "I know." she didn't need to say anything else, and her hand on the twins' shoulders were enough.

Tony noticed that everyone was protecting the Vibranium core except for Natasha and Bruce. "Romanoff. You and Banner better not be playing 'hide the zucchini.'" Tony spoke over the comms.

"Relax, Shell-head. Not all of us can fly," Natasha responded, driving a truck through the city and entering the church. "What's the drill?" the red-head questioned.
