Recently, I've been getting more and more excited for Noah to arrive. Just thinking back on everything Joe and I have already done together in such a short amount of time, and now adding another person to the equation. It's amazing.

Ready for a throw-back? I just remember when we first met and Caspar teased him about not getting my number, then to us being a weird in-between of friends and in-a-relationship, then we kind of put a title on it as a low-key friends with benefits, then we eventually made it official between us as a couple, which led to awesome sex... Then when we got engaged! And now the baby.

Then when we went to Miami for my birthday and had a great time, and travelling to Los Angeles.

But there has also been some hard times.

Like my dad passing. The multiple Rory scenarios. Eric and Nora. But I think all of that has ultimately made us stronger together, cliché right?

But anyway, I have pretty much purchased everything we would need for Noah and now we are waiting his arrival in the next months.

There's a small cot in my room for him, pushed to the side for now because we still have a while, but I got excited and had Joe set it up. Then we also go another small one to put in Joe's room for when we stay at his place. Although, it's a smaller, cheaper one because we'll probably be staying at my place more frequently.

Anyway, because Joe has meetings today, I'm going to do the (hopefully) last shopping for Noah. Just small things like a changing mat, baby wipes, and baby powder.

Although Joe is supposed to be paying attention in meetings but he keeps texting me.

"Are you going out today?"

"Yes. To get a changing mat & baby wipes."

"Be safe, x."

"I know. Now pay attention to your meetings!!"

I put my phone in my bag and grabbed my keys before heading down to my car.

Shopping didn't take too long, as I just picked up what I needed and then headed home. I've started feeling more tired and my feet hurt more easily now. And also I haven't realised how much I rely on Joe's company. As he's not here today, I feel quite lonely, but I know that's also a part of the pregnancy making my hormones act weird.

I tried to keep myself as busy as I could, organising everything and then I baked cookies for a short while and washed up the dishes I had used.

"How are you?"

"Good, I think I'm going to take a nap."

"Okay. In last meeting, see you soon, x."

I laid down to take a nap for a bit but couldn't seem to fall asleep so I grabbed my laptop and watched some YouTube videos and eventually fell asleep.

"Minxie, wake up baby," Joe said quietly, nudging me gently.

"Hm?" I mumbled.

"How are you feeling?"

"Just a bit tired," I mumbled.

"Are you feeling up to going out to dinner with Zoe, Alfie, Caspar, and Oli?"

"Mhm, yeah. Are we getting dressed up?"

"Nah baby, it's casual," Joe nodded.

"Okay," I nodded, sitting up.

"Have you been here a while?" I asked.

"No, I finished my meetings awhile ago but went back to my flat to do some laundry and then came over here," Joe explained.

I got up to brush my teeth and then get dressed into something a little less creased from sleeping on it. I slipped on some booties and a scarf before getting my bag and we left in Joe's car.

"My back is sore," I commented.

"I'm sorry baby," Joe hummed as he drove.

"It's alright. Oh, and Noah has been kicking a lot today," I smiled.

"That's cool. It always fascinates me, and makes me more excited," Joe grinned as we pulled up to the restaurant.

"Me too!"

"Come on let's go, they're all here already," Joe smiled.

"Oh, are we late?"

"No, don't worry," Joe nodded as we went inside.

"Minxie! Joe!" Zoe greeted happily as she jumped out of her seat to give us a hug.

"Aw, hello! How have you been?" I smiled.

"I've been great. How's the baby doing?"

"He's doing really well. Doctor said he's quite big and he's been kicking a lot," I smiled as I sat down between Joe and Zoe.

"That's great. It's funny how your baby is big, but yet you two are both small!" Zoe laughed.

"That's what I thought!" Joe laughed.

"Yeah, I know. Hopefully he'll slow down the growing," I laughed meekly.

"It'll be okay," Zoe smiled.

We all chatted for a while longer and ate. It was nice to have female company again and I've
missed talking to Zoe.

"Minx, we need to get together more often! After the baby arrives, we should go for a spa-day or shopping!" Zoe grinned.

"Ah, that sounds lovely," I nodded enthusiastically.

"I'll make sure that happens!" Zoe laughed lightly giving me a hug.

"Want to come over and watch a film?" Caspar asked everyone.

"Sure!" Zoe smiled happily.

"Yeah, why not!" Oli nodded.

"Can Alfie and I spend the night tonight?" Zoe asked Joe.

"Yeah, Minx and I will go back to her place and you can stay in my room, if that's alright?" Joe said, asking me.

"Oh, yeah of course!" I nodded.

"Aw, thank you," Zoe grinned.

We paid for our dinner and headed back to Joe's and Caspar's flat.

"Let me know whenever you want to head back to your flat," Joe said softly, kissing me on the top of my head.

"Alright, I'm fine right now," I smiled.

"Okay baby."

We all gathered around and got comfortable before putting on another scary film. I've realised that Caspar and Zoe both like watching films so whenever we hang-out that's what we seem to do. But I'm not complaining, I love watching films.

"My stomach hurts," I whispered to Joe as the movie finished.

"Hm? Are you okay?"

"I will be. Can we go back to mine? I need to go to bed," I mumbled.

"Yeah, come on," Joe nodded, getting up.

I keep feeling almost like cramps on my lower abdomen. It's uncomfortable and almost painful sometimes and to be honest, I'm getting a bit worried.

"We're going to head out. Casp, Zoe and Alfie are staying here tonight. See you all later, yeah?" Joe nodded as we got up, too focused on making sure I was okay to say anything else.

"Minxie, are you okay?"

"Um, yeah. I'll be fine," I smiled weakly.

"Alright. Call us if you need anything," Oli piped in, to which everyone agreed.

"Take care, love," Alfie said as we left.

We got to Joe's car and he started it.

"Minxie, are you okay? Do I need to take you to the hospital?"
