"Minxie, let me take him. I'll give him a bottle if he gets hungry. Take a nap," Joe said.

"Okay," I nodded, yawning.

"Come here," Joe smiled as he took Noah.

"Thank you," I smiled as Joe sat next to me and I leaned my head against his shoulder, "When's your mum coming over?"

"Tomorrow morning," Joe smiled.

"Okay," I nodded.

"No, no, it's okay!" Joe hushed as Noah started crying.

"Noah, baby, shh," I said, as he wrapped his hand around my finger.

"Does his nappy need changing?"

"I don't think so," I shrugged.

Joe picked him up and checked his nappy.

"No, he's good," Joe shrugged as he got up and carried him into the kitchen with him.

I could hear Joe putting a bottle in the microwave to warm it up a bit before he joined me back on the sofa.

"Here you go," Joe said quietly.

Noah started crying even more and moving his head away from the bottle, refusing to have it.

"He's not hungry," Joe sighed.

"I'll get a binky," I said, getting up and grabbing one from the kitchen.

"Thank you," Joe nodded, giving it to Noah.

Noah took the binky and calmed down almost instantly.

"You're a little fuss, aren't you?" I laughed lightly.

"He sure is," Joe huffed, smiling.

I leaned in to give Joe a kiss, to which he greatly returned.

"D.amn, who knew having a kid was so hard," Joe huffed playfully.

"Mhm, and who's fault was that?" I smirked.

"P.iss off," Joe laughed, "But technically, both of ours."

"I know," I laughed, "But I would never want it any differently."

"Me too. It's still weird to think that we created him and now he's here and I already love him so much."

"You're weird," I giggled, giving him a kiss.

"Whatever!" Joe laughed, "What time is it?"

"Quarter past seven," I answered.

"D.amn, already. Do you want me to go out and get some dinner for us?" Joe asked.

"I can go get it," I shrugged.

"Minxie-"

"What? I perfectly capable of going out to get us some food," I defended.

"Alright. Get whatever you want," Joe shrugged, "Get me something too please."

"Of course!" I smiled.

"And be careful... Please," Joe smiled wearily.

"I'll be fine," I assured him as I got my keys and bag and headed down to the car.

I drove down to a small take-out restaurant we usually go to for quick food and ordered what Joe and I usually get.

"Where's Joe?" Elisa, the cashier, asked.

We literally have come here so often they have remembered Joe and I.

"He's at home with the baby," I nodded, fishing into my bag to pay her.
