Prologue

Prologue 

Logan ruled his pack with iron fist, for already two years. He had the same personality as his father. They both didn't like people who disobeyed. The pack's only hope was the Alpha's mate. They hoped that she could change the Alpha.

He was already searching for his mate for two years. Only 20 years old, but already respected by the other packs because he was the best fighter in the world.

His idea of a mate was a beautiful woman. A woman who was better than the others. His preference was a daughter of an Alpha, or otherwise a bèta.Long legs and of course other things, men like.

One day, a little Omega disobeyed him. He was standing next to his bèta, looking at a group of men and women who were working on the land. Outside, it was more than 30 degrees, too hot to work. The girl, Axelle, laid her shovel on the floor and sat down. Her hands were full of blisters. She was only 17 years old but was forced to work. When Logan saw that the girl wasn't working, he ran to her and pulled her on her feet by her hair. " Work! " he yelled , before he threw her on the ground like trash.

She didn't get up immediately. She stayed on the ground, because she didn't had the power to stand. She only wanted to sleep and to drink a bit, because she was thirsty. Logan growled at her and gave his bèta the command to bring her to the cells. Everyone needed to listen to him, otherwise you stayed your whole life in prison. And that was also her fate.

In prison, other men used her as a boxing ball. In a few weeks time her body was full of bruises. Axelle had already accepted her fate. She didn't saw Logan as her Alpha anymore. A real leader would never do this to his pack. Only in a few weeks or months time, the real shock had still to come.
