12. Axelle

Logan pushed me off his lap. He walked to the Alpha, who had made him angry. " I don't let anybody speak about my mate like that " He growled. The Alpha had gone up and they stared at each other for a long time. I thought that he had calmed down, but he pushed the Alphas head on the table. They changed to their wolf. That was the moment when the fight started.

The only thing that went to my mind was 'This is my fault '. I hadn't seen Logan like this before. Yes, I had seen him fight with the guard but I wasn't a fight like this. They were two Alphas. Logan had a deep cut in his side. Blood was dripping. The other Alpha had several wounds on his back.

I tried to hide in a corner of the room. I didn't want to look at the fight. It brought back the memories of the guards in the dungeon. I kept hearing the noises, so I put my hands against my ears. Some tears were running down my cheeks. Please, let it stop!

Suddenly, someone opened the door. I looked up slowly. The beta was standing in the doorway. He was making some gestures to the other Alphas in the room. The all went outside. Only Logan and the Alpha stayed. They kept on fighting. The beta tried to stop them. I kept on sobbing.

Finally, the noises stopped. I wrapped my arms around my knees. Why did the goddess do this to me? Why couldn't I have a normal omega as my mate? Someone, or something, was whining. Slowly, I looked up. A wolf was standing in front of me.

I moved backwards. I wanted to disappear. The wolf was clearly Logan. They had the same eye color. Logan laid down on his back, showing his belly. He kept whining. He probably didn't like the idea of me being afraid of him. Slowly, I calmed down and crawled closer to him. Now, He was laying on his belling. My left hand reached for his head and I petted his fur. I think it was the mate bound that let me do this.

Quickly, my other hand followed and I had pushed myself into his fur. Maybe his fur could let me disappear? Logans head was on my shoulder and he was still whining, but it was difficult to hear it. Someone brought a short and I let go of Logan. The person helped me upright. It was the beta. He go a disappointed look in his eyes.

" Axelle " Logans voice said. He had already change back to his human form. His hand grabbed mine and he pulled me against his chest. " I'm sorry, but you need to understand that I don't like people calling you names. Don't be afraid. It hurts to see that you are afraid " He petted my back. " Promise me you won't fight " I asked him. He kissed my forehead, before looked at me. " I promise " He said. He kept hugging me. I was thinking about what happened. I wasn't sure if he would keep his promise.
