52. Logan

I hadn't seen Axelle all day. She had , very enthusiastic, run out of my office after I had given her the task. I hoped that she was still so enthusiastic. It would be a task which she could gain the hearts of the pack members. I hoped it worked. We didn't have a lot of others options. Otherwise, they just had to live with it.

The front door opened and closer. It couldn't be Oliver or Jack. They had already left an hour ago. Was it Axelle? I waited till I heard the person move. Due to the movements, I knew it was her. I turned around in the couch and waited till she came to me. Probably still with a smile on her face, because she was very happy with the task. The contrary was true.

She didn't smile and she made few eye contact with me. I just got a simple ' hello ' , before she went to the kitchen. Of course, I went to her. " Is everything alright? " She was standing at the fridge and I wrapped my arms around her. She was a little bit surprised, before she turned around and looked at me.

" What do you want to hear? That everyone still hates me and nobody wants to talk to me, because that's the only thing I experienced today. " I pushed her a little bit closer to me. I didn't like it when she wasn't happy. My wolf started accusing me. That it was my idea to give her that task. That it was my fault she wasn't happy.

I didn't get a chance to say something, because she put her finger on my lips. " But, if nobody is going to help me, I'm going to do it on my own. I will show them that I don't need help to achieve things " I smiled. My wolf immediately stopped talking. He realised that there was something good at this situation. She would become much stronger. We were both happy about it.

" What have you already done? " I asked her. She took her finger from my lips and crawled under my arm. " I will show you when I'm done " She said mysterious. " Can't I know something? I can give you tips " I tried desperate. My heart couldn't handle her having a secret for me. Even though, it was something like this. A secret was a secret.

" My answer stays no, Logan. Even if you ask me a hundred times " She shook her head, while she chuckled, clearly amused, and she walked out of the living room. " If you don't mind, I'm going to work. Maybe you can work to. The last few days, you haven't work a lot " She shouted to me. A few seconds later, I heard a door closing, while I was till in the kitchen, thinking of her words.
