Epilogue

~ 1,5 year later

" Come to daddy, little girl " Logan was standing next to the couch, with his hands wide open. He was waiting for Louise. It had taken her brother a few months less to walk for the first time. We wanted her to do it at her own pace, but we were really nervous for her first time. It had surprised us that Arthur was earlier, because Louise had crawled much quicker than him. Maybe she just didn't want to walk. Maybe she liked the fact that her father carried her around the house.

" Make daddy very happy, darling " He didn't move from his spot. Instead he was looking at Louise and waited for her to move from her spot on the carpet. She was looking at her father, like she wanted to ask him why he kept talking about it. And then she did it. Like she was tired of him and she took one little step. She almost immediately went back to the carpet and sat down again, like nothing happened.

" She did it! " That one little step made Logan very enthusiastic. He ran to her and picked her from the ground. " You made your daddy very proud. You let me wait a long time, but it was totally worth it " I couldn't surpress a laugh. Logan was a very good father and he loved his two children very much. I couldn't have wished for a better mate, husband and father of my two children.

~ 14 years

Arthur and Louise had grown much. Both physically, as mentally. Arthur knew his responsibilities and tried to impress his father, while Louise knew that she wouldn't be able to become the Alpha. So she tried to impress me. And almost everyone else in the pack. She was always the one with the creative ideas. Arthur was always jealous that she could come up with those ideas, that he sometimes just copied them and said they were his.

Maybe it wouldn't be bad if Arthur and Louise both became Alpha. They both had the qualities to become the Alpha. Arthur was strong and a good negotiator. Of course, he learned those things from his father. Louise on the contrary listened more and thought more, before she said something. She wanted to know what worries the pack members and wanted to help them. And her creative ideas had already helped a lot of people.

Maybe I needed to talk with Logan about it. And with Arthur and Louise of course. I only saw the benefits. It wouldn't be that bad for everyone, but I wasn't sure if the pack would be happy with it.

~ 20 years

I swallowed, while I looked at my two children who were standing in front of me. Their father was speaking and was welcoming everyone for the ceremony. Today would be the day that they became Alpha and ... Alpha. We had waited till they had learned everything, they should know. Now, Logan and I could take care of ourselves. No duties anymore, no responsibilities. Just us two.

I couldn't believe that this day had finally arrived. This was the day for which we had worked so hard the last 20 years. After this ceremony, they would travel to almost all packs in the neighbourhood. Mostly to meet other Alpha's, but secretly, to see if somewhere in those packs were their mates. They hadn't met them, but we didn't worry. Logan had also been 20 years when he had met me. Louise and Arthur thought that they were late with meeting their mate. They didn't have anything to worry about. They still had plenty of time.

It showed that they couldn't wait to start with children and stuff. Or, like Jack and Grace, they would wait a few years to start with their family. Eventually, Jack and Grace were pregnant, almost 2 years after Louise and Arthur's birth. Oliver and Emily hadn't waited that long. A little girl was born, not even a year after I had given birth.

Jack and Grace had 2 boys. They looked a lot like their father. They couldn't be serious for one second. Arthur took care of them. When they got in trouble, he was always by their side to help them. With his role as future Alpha, everyone listened to him.

Oliver and Emily had two girls and one boy. The second pregnancy was also twins. She had a lot of trouble, just like me. She was always tired and Oliver was very worried that something would go wrong. Luckily, Logan was the one who could give him some advice. He had gone through the same thing with my pregnancy.

Logan and I stayed with our two beautiful children. We were a happy family and we never talked about having more of them. Our family was complete. I couldn't be more happy with my little family. When I first met Logan, I would have never thought that was possible. Me being happy with him and our future together, but know I knew that I had made the right decision with forgiving him.
