34. Logan

 I don't realize what happened today. It don't understand what happened with our world. Will we have, someday, a world in peace again? I can only hope we will, because I don't want anybody to experience what my country is going through now at the moment #prayforbrussels #prayfortheworld  

34. Logan

Eventually, I had slept the whole evening and night. I shortly woke up when Axelle laid herself next to me. Right now, we were still lying laid next to each other, on the small bed. " Thank you for choosing me " She said to me. I turned my face towards her. " You don't need to thank me. I will always choose you, Axelle. Always " I buried my nose in her hair and laid even closer to her.

Somehow, I was happy that Luca had wanted to exchange Axelle for my Alpha position. Someone else would probably have tortured or murdered her. Those thoughts did hurt me inside. " I love you " I said suddenly. I felt how she shivered. Was this to early? Had I told her to early about my feelings towards her?

" You don't need to say it back to me " I said immediately. I didn't want to oblige her to something. I pushed myself up on my elbow and looked at her. She smiled softly at me. That smile said enough. Someday, she would say it back to me. I just needed to be patient.

" Are you sure you are going to win from Luca? " She asked me. I nodded immediately. I was born as an Alpha. My wolf was bigger than his. Nothing could go wrong. " Don't worry, okay? I can take care of myself " My thumb stroked her cheek. She leaned in my touch and closed her eyes.

Axelle walked before me. The water reached till her knees. She held her dress upwards, so it couldn't get wet. " Are you coming? " She asked me. She looked over her shoulder at me and gestures for me to come closer. I rolled my pants upwards and stepped in the water.

We had still been in bed for an hour. Bot in deep thoughts. We wouldn't do a lot today. Just enjoying each others company and rest. I wrapped my arms around her, as soon as I was close to her. " Actually, I want to stay her for a little longer. I love the silence "

" In the future, I will build a house at the edge of our pack. Specially for you " I said. I kissed her cheek and she looked at me. " Promised? " I saw some sparks in her eyes and laughed. " Yes, I promise " I said.

Eventually, we stayed for almost an hour in the water. We went back to the cabin went it started to rain. We had already eaten before we went to the lake, so we dropped ourself on the bed and looked at the ceiling. Tomorrow was the day. Tomorrow, I would demand that I got my title back. I would fight for my position and my pack.

I tried to clear my mind. No thoughts. Axelle laid her head on my chest and pushed herself more against me. " Is something wrong? " I asked her. She shook her head. I looked at her and saw in her eyes that she was worried. Deep inside, I was worried too, but I wouldn't admit it.
