61. Logan

My fingers were tangled in Axelle's hair. She was still sleeping on my chest. The blanket covered her body till her middle, while the rest was covered because she was sleeping next to me. Her arms held me around my waist. I hadn't slept this night. It seemed like the adrenaline was still in my body and held me awake. Or maybe because my thoughts repeated the events of this night.

It was still a mystery how we got here. Or should I say, in this position. I think, it started by what she said. Or mostly, the way she said it. My wolf freaked out and in that moment of weakness, he took over my body. And yes, the rest is history. It didn't mean that I regretted something. I was mostly hoping that Axelle didn't regret anything.

Axelle moaned softly and I saw how she opened her eyes. I could clearly see fatigue in them. I tickled her in her side, to tease her. She made a little noise and looked at me with an angry expression. She couldn't stay mad at me. Her expression changed from mad to love. And happy. A smile formed on her face.

She pushed herself a little more against me and tried to look at me, which was difficult because she was still lying next to me. I grabbed the blanket and pulled it over her. She sat upright and immediately, the warmth was gone. I wrapped my arms around her, again and tried to bring her closer again. I was already missing her warmth. I missed the feeling of having her body close to mine.

She chuckled because of my behaviour and kissed my nose. " Can I go to the bathroom, please? " She asked me. I looked at her with a pout, but I knew that I needed to let go of her. She kissed me again, this time on my lips, before she wrapped the blanket around her and walked to the bathroom. " You know that I'm not wearing anything " I asked her. I heard something fel on the ground. She was so cute when she was being shy.

I grabbed my boxer from the ground and put it on. When she was finished in the bathroom, she looked carefully inside in the room, to be sure that I wore something. When she saw I did, she came back inside the room and grabbed her clothes from the ground, before returning to the bathroom. A few minutes she came back, fully dressed. She put the blanket on the end of the bed, before sitting next to me.

" I don't think, we are going to leave this bed today " She chuckled against my chest. She wrapped her arms around me again and I did the same. My fingers caressed the skin of her back. " Don't pretend that I'm the only one who thinks, that's a good idea " She hide her face in my neck and I knew immediately, that her cheeks had become red. " I love you, you know that right? " I felt how she kissed my neck, before she whispered in my ear: " I love you too "
