28. Axelle

A little while earlier

I woke up, because I fell on the floor. My hands almost immediately touched the spot on my back that hurt. I realised that Logan wasn't here. Did he run away? Had he some important things to do? I stood up and stretched. I decided to go downstairs. As soon as I left the room, I bumped against my parents. They were standing in the doorway, with a plate in their hands.

" You're awake " My mother laughed. A small blush appeared on my cheeks. Apparently, I overslept. For the first time ever. I took the plate from my mother and stepped back inside my room. " Are you going back to ... the Alpha? " My mother said the last word really quietly.

" I think so. Or he's coming back to our house, I don't know " I said honestly. I didn't know what Logan was going to do. Was he coming back or not? Did he want me to come to his house? I took a bite of my sandwich and looked at my parents. " You can do what you want. You don't have to look at us " My dad said.

I didn't have time to answer, because we heard the front door opening. We looked at eachother, uncertain what to do. Why wasn't Logan here? He would know what to do. We heard some noise on the stairs and my mother and I grabbed each other. The noise stopped right in front of my door. A few seconds later, a wolf jumped through the door. My father was pushed against the wall, but he changed in his wolf, so he could protect us.

My mother grabbed my hand and pulled me behind her, downstairs. We heard the wolf running behind us. What had happened with my dad? My mother pushed me outside, before I could think about it. " Run as fast as you can, sweetheart " I looked her in the eyes, before I ran. I wanted to arrive at Logan's house as quick as possible. He would help us.

Unfortunately, someone, or something, pushed me against the ground. The wolf changed in his human form and laughed. " So you're the Alpha's mate? You're even weaker than I thought " He grabbed my hair and beat my head against the ground. Everything went black almost immediately.   

A/N: A really small chapter, but it's also an important one. You know what happened and that she is indeed kidnapped.
