Chapter 28

Jake's P.O.V:

Everything's been peaceful since I killed Luke. Which was half a year ago. Emma now talks to everyone in the pack. We are trying to figure something out right now though. The vampires found some humans camping in the woods. Normally we would think nothing of it. One of the vampires overheard them talking. They were talking about trying to find our camp. The question is how do they know about the werewolves?

"Is something wrong?" Emma asked looking at me worriedly.

"No I was just thinking." I said smiling at her.

"Ok." Emma said as she hugs me.

"I love you Emma." I said petting her hair.

"I love you too." Emma said as I hug her back.

"Jake we have trouble." Ethan said coming out of nowhere.

"Emma go talk to Olivia. What's wrong?" I asked as Emma left to go talk to Olivia. Ethan waited till Emma was gone.

"They are getting closer." Ethan said being serious.

"The humans?" I asked as I crossed my arms.

"Yes."

"Did you tell Lucas?" I asked sighing a little.

"Yes. He said that you guys are probably going to have to move." Ethan said as Lucas came over.

"Probably. There's no questioning it we can't have those humans finding us." Lucas said as serious as ever.

"Your right." I said sighing again.

"We are going to move today. So tell Emma." Lucas said looking at me.

"Ok." I said as I went to go tell Emma. "Emma?"

"What is it Jake?" Emma asked turning around and smiling at me.

"We are moving today." I said trying to avoid saying why.

"Why?" Emma asked curiously.

"We just have to." I said still avoiding telling her.
