Brock: It's time for the first event of the Elemeno Winter Games!

Barry: For the first event, we are staying indoors.

Cilan: For our first game, we will be playing...

Cilan, Brock, Barry: MARIO KART DS!

Barry: Wait...how will they play Mario Kart by pairs?

Brock: Only one player per team will participate for this event.

Cilan: Anyway...referees? Who will play?

Clemont: The players for this event will be...Ash, May, Dawn, Jace, Gary, Silver, Red and Jessie!

Tracey: We will now randomly choose players for them.

Gary: We don't get to choose our player?

Tracey: Nope.

Clemont: So...we hope you know how to operate the player.

Tracey: We will be playing in 150cc and the courses will be chosen by random. We will have 5 races.

Clemont: For the players, Ash will use Yoshi!

Ash: YOSHI!

Clemont: May will use Donkey Kong!

May: I'll do my best...though it will be hard to navigate because of the weight.

Clemont: Dawn will use Mario!

Dawn: Mario!

Clemont: Jace will use Luigi!

Jace: Luigi!

Clemont: Gary will use Bowser!

Gary: Alright! I'm gonna annihilate you all.

Ash: Bowser is hard to use, you know.

Clemont: Silver will use Dry Bones!

Silver: Good enough.

Clemont: Red will use Daisy!

Red: Uh...

Clemont: And Jessie will use Wario!

Jessie: What?! WARIO??? I want to use Princess Peach!

Dawn: Well too bad.

Jessie: Ugh.

Tracey: Okay...it seems everyone is ready. Let the race begin!

Brock: As much as our commentary would be nice to hear, we feel like it would a lot more fun to hear the action itself.

Barry: We got the players mic'd up. If they're not, I'm going to fine our sound guy!

Sound guy: ...

Cilan: Our first course is in Delfino Square! Let's go!

Ash: Alright! Woo!

Gary: I'm gonna catch ya, Ketchum!

Jessie: In your face, twerp!
