70. Getting Your Attention

Steve:
Steve is a really patient guy, but sometimes when your working at home for hours straight he can get a little bored. He tries to be non-chalant, but you know exactly what he's doing when he casually walks over to the couch and turns on the tv. It's simple but it works, you can't focus with tv on behind you and Steve knows it. After a few minutes you give up working and head over to the couch where Steve is waiting with open arms.

Bucky:
Bucky disapears, at first you thought he was just being polite and letting you get your work done, but now you know better. Bucky disapears because he knows that you will worry about where he is and come in search of him. Even though you've figured out what he's doing you still can't seem to keep yourself from going to find him and cuddle him.

Pietro:
This is Pietro and he takes the definition of the term 'little shit' to a whole new level and you kind of love/hate it. He takes whatever currently has your attention and runs off to another rooms with it. You will spend an hour trying to find him until eventually you give up and plop down on the couch until Pietro comes back to spend time with you.

Loki:
Loki sits down at the piano and begins to play one of the songs you taught him, and if playing isn't enough to get your attention he will intentionally start to play a few wrong notes. He knows that no matter what you can't resist helping him when he's playing incorrectly. It's only a matter of a few short minutes before you are sitting on the bench beside him and guiding his hands, which he loves and he can't help but smile at you.

Clint:
Clint is an attention hog, but he also knows that it can be annoying, so when he tries to get your attention it's by doing something nice for you. You'll be in the living room working or reading nd he will casually make his way into the kitchen, put on his apron, and start baking. He knows just how much you love to watch him cook, and that you can't resist the smell of freshly baked brownies. Plus you both get sugary goodness afterwards.

Thor:
Thor just yells your name really loudly, which is actually pretty much normal volume for him. This usually results in your neighbor Mrs. Smith knocking on the wall to get him to shut up and you laughing your butt off on the couch. Apparently she has not forgiven Thor for his rude intrusion even though it happened like three years ago.

Tony:
Part of why Tony and you work so well, is because you are very similar, which is why Tony getting your attention is exactly like when you go down to the lab and interupt him. He barges into your office with a boom box and starts playing music really loud. The difference is he chooses music he knows you will hate, forcing you to pay attention to him and try convincing him to turn it off.

Natasha:
No questions about it, Nat is like a cat when she wants your attention. She will put herself between you and whatever currently has you attention, demanding focus to be on her. If you are reading a book she will put her hand over the page so you can't see it anymore and then swipe it away, honestly it's kind of hilarious.

Wanda:
She literally just curls up next to you and wraps her arms around one of your's. You respond by looking at her with a questioning raised eyebrow, and she gives you her best puppy dog eyes which are your kryptonite, of course. You toss whatever you were working on away from you and turn to cuddle her, you'll worry about responsibilities later.
