Ryouko layed flat on her back on the floor of the rooftop, her eyes transfixed at the sky.

Such a vast, blue sky this is... Very different from what she always gaze at in London, England. The place has the average of thirteen thunderstorms annually. It is by far the least of them all in Europe. That's why she was made to go to there. She knew the fact that she was sent to England for her own good, but they didn't even let her express her opinions about the matter.

If only they let her stay in U.S. then perhaps the thing she always cannot handle will be something that she can already handle by now. Ryouko always preferred to face everything head-on, not run away like a coward and hide. Hiding won't make the matter go away.

But still, there are things that are better off without facing it head-on.

"Oy. Ryouko." Ryoma suddenly arrived, looking down at her and blocking her sight.

"What is it?" She asked.

"Nothing. Are you alright?" Ryoma said.

"About the club? I see that you've heard." She replied, sitting up.

"There are thngs that people only people like us understands. Don't take it to heart." Ryoma said.

"Are you perhaps, trying to comfort me?" She said teasingly.

"Not at all. I'm just laying out the facts." He answered.

Ryouko scoffed. "Baka. At this flow of the conversation, you should just agree." She told him.

"I'm not playing around... It's not as if I don't know how you're feeling right now..." He said, sitting next to her.

"Tensai ja nai na tensai. (A genius who's not a genius.)" Ryouko mumbled. "They think we have it very easy, huh?"

Ryoma nodded. "In the end, birds of the same feather will always be the ones to understand each other."

"I thought the saying goes, 'Birds of the same feather flock together'?" Ryouko said with a smile.

"I invented it. You got a problem with that?" Ryoma told her.

Ryouko reached over her duffel bag and took two of her reserve Ponta.

"Cherry?" Ryoma said as he checked the can.

"New flavor. It's under survey." She said. "Consider yourself lucky... You're perhaps the first person outside the company to sample that..."

Ryouko belonged to the Fujioka clan, the family owning a big corporation called 'Zenbonzakura Corp.' who has branches in the international market, especially largest in Japan. Supermarts, hospitals, even male and female dress lines and specialty-sports equipments until technology and robotics, they have it all.

Ryoma and Ryoko were the first to sample the first ever Ponta drink when they were eight years old. Peach flavored. Since then, it became habitual for them to always having at least one can around wherever they go. To describe it in one word, it became their favorite.

"Say, aren't you gonna return to the Girls Tennis Club?" Ryoma asked.

"Wakaranai. (I don't know.)" She answered.

"What about you explain why you did it?" Ryoma suggested.

"Then it won't have any meaning." Ryouko said.

"Sou dane... (That's right.)" He agreed.

Both of them stared at the sky.
