Fuji Syusuke walked along the corridor, attracting eyes and attention with his Romeo Montague get-up. However, he couldn't be bothered to feel uncomfortable under the blatant gazes and whispers. He just left Class 1-2's booth three minutes ago, seeming to forget taking his mind with him. His thoughts kept on coming back to the situation at the café before he made his leave.

When it seemed that he and Echizen had been successful in closing off Atobe, Fuji suddenly received a call from their class president.

"Where are you Fuji-kun? It's been three hours! I know that the freshman princess paid such a hefty amount on you but you shouldn't go over the time limit. Go back to our classroom this instant," Matsuoka Ayako scolded over the phone.

"What do you need me for? Isn't the next auction starting at 3 o'clock? I still have a lot of time," Fuji told her, creases forming on his smooth forehead.

"It's not the auction, it's something else. Anyway, I expect to see you back here in five minutes," Matsuoka said. Before Fuji could say a word in edgewise, she hanged up.

Staring at the phone in exasperation, Fuji was left with no choice but to sigh and get up from his seat. Ryouko just nodded as he explained to her why he should take his leave. Inside the black-haired girl's head, she was wondering why Fuji even took the effort to explain to her. It's not really her business what reason he has for leaving. It actually surprised her when he suddenly went back to the table he just vacated minutes ago. He's also looking a bit too apologetic, like he's causing her some kind of inconvenience by vacating the café.

"Senpai is acting a bit strange," she thought as she waved him out to the corridor. Shrugging it off the top of her head, she went back inside and resumed her duties, unaware of her senpai's concerns. She really is a girl with zero sensibility when it comes to men's subtle display of care.

Thus, Fuji was full of worries as he made his way back to his classroom.

"Aitsu... (That guy...)" Fuji told himself, his blue eyes narrowing at the mere thought of Atobe Keigo. "He won't pull anything funny, would he?"

Unlike during the camp, the school is not Atobe Keigo's territory; but with that bastard's personality, it's not likely that he would entirely behave himself.

Well, Ryouko-chan isn't a sitting duck. He had seen her repudiate the Hyotei Captain many times at camp and she's more than capable of protecting herself.

"Besides..." a voice in his subconscious said. "Echizen's also there."

His gaze turned cold at that last thought. "Urusai ne (Shut up)," he told it, a strange glint surfacing on his blue pupils. "Who knows if Echizen can be trusted?"

Echizen Ryoma does not bring him a sense of relief. Perhaps... Echizen might be a bigger danger than Atobe Keigo.

"Iya na yokan ga suru (I have a bad feeling about this)," he mumbled under his breath.

Fuji's shoulders are very stiff indeed as he bounded up the stairs to the third-years' floor. If he knew about the events that took place after his absence, he would have confirmed his foreboding.

Ayase Mami just came back from the grounds and from her self-proclaimed spy mission. After the propaganda duty, she dragged Shuu off again to check out how the other classes are doing. Their booth is making really good progress and that would bring immense chance of success to her play. Thus, those classes whose booths are also doing well are possible rivals at her—err, their shot at the award for the best presentation. It is very important to know who's to be their competition so that she could strategize against them as soon as possible.
