The practice of Seigaku tennis club was beginning to feel tenser within the other seniors and juniors that Monday after class. After all, there's only a month more before the ranking competition. Surely the line up of the regulars will be different this time... The seniors will soon be graduating. The fate of the club after losing six of the main regulars was dawning on the minds of the members and Ryuzaki-sensei.

"Don't worry, sensei. There's still a lot of time before we graduate." Fuji said when Ryuzaki-sensei voiced her worries.

"You're right. You should do whatever you can to help the juniors and freshmen while you're still here." Ryuzaki-sensei replied.

"It does makes someone worry, doesn't it? After all, six of the regulars are seniors..." Inoue commented on the sidelines after hearing Fuji and Ryuzaki-sensei's conversation.

"Daijoubu-desu, Inoue-senpai... There's Kaidoh-kun and Momoshiro-kun, and of course, Ryoma-kun to continue the glory of the Seigaku tennis club." Shiba told him.

"That's not that easy, Shiba. Yes, the three are very excellent. But then, how about the other players? A team will only be strong if the members are strong individually. I'm aware that this will be a problem with the other schools as well... It's not easy to produce strong players." Inoue said.

All of a sudden, a visitor came that stirred up the attention of the members. Seigaku's former captain, Yamato arrived at the courts. He went to greet Ryuzaki-sensei.

The regulars quickly went to greet he former captain.

"Yamato-buchou! Issashiburi-desu! (It's been a long time!)" They said.

"Yamato... Why the sudden visit?" Ryuzaki-sensei asked.

"I was in the area so I thought of stopping by. I'm free anyway. How are things going, sensei?" Yamato asked her.

"It's fine." Ryuzaki-sensei said.

"Who is that guy, senpai?" Shiba asked.

"Oh. That is Yamato-kun, the former captain of Seigaku. He earned the respect of the regular members, even Tezuka-kun respects him. It had been said that he was the one who led the Seigaku tennis club to be at the national level." Inoue explained.

"Oh... Then he's a pretty amazing guy..." Shiba said and took a shot of Yamato with her camera.

"Echizen-kun, have you been well?" Yamato asked, turning to Ryoma.

"Hai, senpai." Ryoma answered and made a slight smile. Yamato nodded.

"I think you should continue with practice, sensei." Yamato said.

"You're right..." Ryuzaki-sensei said. "Line up!" She called.

The members obeyed immediately.

"As you all know, a month from now will be the ranking competition. I trust that you all will be training hard in preparation." Ryuzaki-sensei announced.

All of a sudden, a hand went in the air. It was Ryouko, trying to catch Ryuzaki-sensei's attention.

Yamato wondered why a girl was in the courts.

"What is it, Ryouko?" Ryuzaki-sensei asked.

"Sensei, I think it's about time you take out the rule that freshmen cannot participate in the ranking competition." Ryouko said.

Everyone's heads swerved in her direction.

"Oy, oy... Don't joke around, Ryouko-chan..." A senior told her.
