THURSDAY
"Annie! Annie!"
Annabeth turned to find Jodi and Barbara running to catch up with her.
"Hi, so how did you go?"
Both smiled.
"It was easy."
"I think I did good."
They're so alike it's amazing they didn't befriend earlier.
And all it took was for you and Peter to become closer.
Barbara nudged Annabeth.
"And you?"
"It wasn't a challenge."
Jodi clapped her hands.
"Great, so I was thinking. Exams are almost over. We could go out this weekend, have a girls' bonding time or whatever they're called."
"Whatever they're called?"
Jodi just shrugged, releasing her hair and redoing her ponytail.
"It has been a while since I had girlfriends, so I don't know the terms."
Barbara took a bubblegum packet and offered the others.
"What do you call spending time with Peter, Jordan and Jay?"
Jodi snorted before rolling her eyes.
"Worldwide Competition of Stupidity."
Barbara and Annabeth laughed out loud, scaring some students that were near them.
"Fair enough."
FRIDAY
Any ideas?
None. I don't have much more 'girls' bonding time' than Jodi. Sure, I hang around with Barbara sometimes, but it's not always. What about you?
I spend time with the girls in camp.
Doing what?
Training. Dueling. Riding pegasi. Sometimes we go to the beach. Oh, Reyna and I like to the lava climbing wall, seeing who gets to the top first.
It was my imagination or you just said lava?
It spurts lava to make it more difficult. And some boulders falling too. It's fun.
Sure... whatever you say.
Maybe that's a good idea of bonding time.

Climbing. Let me call Jodi.
Annabeth had to call Jodi three times before she answered.
"Hello?"
"Jodi? You sound out of breath. Are you busy?"
"What? Oh, no, I was just chasing a little demon that answers both by Akemi and younger sister."
"I know all about demons that answer by younger siblings. What did she do?"
"Escaped her bath. Let me tell you, wet and soapy three years old are more slippery than a frog!"
"I believe you. Jodi? You don't happen to know some indoor climbing gym, do you?"
"Wow, change of the subject."
"It was my idea for the bonding time. So, do you?"
"For a matter of fact, I do. It's the only thing I did with Owen."
