The Bet.-Louis Tomlinson

You were walking down the hall when you heard the boys talking about you. You were friends with all of them except Louis. He was just down right rude and arrogant to you. You didn't understand why.

You weren't going to eavesdrop, but come on they're talking about you!!

"Lou, I bet you couldn't even be nice to her for a day." You heard Niall laugh

"I could so. I'm sure I could even make her fall in love with me by the end of this year." Louis stated

"I bet you can't!!" Harry challenged

"Fine!! You're on Styles!! What do I get if I win?" Louis laughed

"£100 bucks and my range rover." Harry said proudly

"Okay." Louis said

"But if I win, YOU have to tell her the truth." Harry stated

"Fine. I don't mind. I mean seriously I don't even like her so..." Louis trailed off

You wanted to cry. The boys were betting your heart like it was nothing.

"Guys don't do this. She doesn't deserve to have her heart played with." Zayn stated

"True. Also we could loose a dear friend in the process." Liam agreed

"Yeah, don't play with her heart." Niall joined

"Maybe we shouldn't Lou." Harry sighed

"Already scared you're going to loose." Lou chuckled

"No, but (Y/N) has a heart and feelings." Harry stated

"No I thought she was the tin man." Louis joked "I don't care we already agreed."

"Whatever." They all said unison

Fine Lou wants to play that game than I'll play right back.

"Hi, boys! Wow Louis!! Have you been working out?" You asked cheerfully

"Uh, yeah." He stammered

"I can totally tell. You're like more buff." You flirted a little bit

"Thanks!" Louis smirked "Love, why don't you come sit next to me?" He patted the seat next to him

"Of course. Just need to grab the popcorn." You smiled

You headed to the kitchen and went to grab the popcorn. You felt a pair of arms wrap around you. You smiled a sad smile as you begin to feel someone kissing your neck. You really liked Louis and you didn't understand why he hated you so.

"God, you're so beautiful." Louis mumbled kissing your neck

"First off no I'm not. Don't lie. My mother always told me I wasn't and mothers don't lie. And second if you want me you'll have to try harder than that. I'm not that easy." You forced laughed while pushing past him

Louis started feeling bad. Maybe he shouldn't do this. Obviously this girl has issues. Like come on she doesn't even believe she's beautiful. That part Louis wasn't lying about. He doesn't know why he hates her just does.

You walked back into the living room to sit down and Louis came and sat next to you.

"So what do I have to do to make you go on a date with me?" Louis flirted coming to sit by you again

"You're smart, you can figure it out." You smirked

........... 6 months later

Boy did he figure it out. You'll admit you two have actually gotten close, which is sad.

Lou and yours game is still going on. Lou still doesn't know you know, but why should he know?

You were starting to hate the game because you were actually starting to fall in love with him, but you knew you couldn't because you'd get hurt in the end.

Louis started feeling even worse. You didn't deserve this. Lou felt ashamed because he was hurting the girl he loved. Yep that's right, his hate was turning to love. That night Lou is going to talk to Harry and break the bet off and tell you the truth.

......That night

"Harry, the bets off." Lou stated

"What? Why?" Harry took a double take of his friend

"Because I'm falling in love with her." Louis stated calmly

"Okay, than you need to tell her before it's too late." Harry smiled

"I already found out the hard way." You stated walking in the room

"What do you mean?" Both boys asked startled

"I mean I heard you make that bet six months ago. I thought I'd play you at your own game Louis, but I ended up falling for you instead." You laughed humorously

"I'm sorry (Y/N). I never really wanted to hurt you." Harry hugged you, than left to give you two some privacy.

"Listen, you're not the only one falling hard, okay? I am in love with you. I'm sorry about that stupid bet. But I love you and I want us to try." Lou pleaded

"One more chance. If you blow it, you blow it. I love you too." You smiled and kissed him with all the passion you could.
