Stupid in love ✔

YourStoryIndia & Author's note

Hi everyone. So the main story is officially over but those extras are still there. For now, I bring to you this author note because I just want to share some very personal things with you. Plz bear with my ranting lol.

Okay, so first things first--

◆ The competition.

As many of you people know, there's this well known competition going on Wattpad since last year. Its called Your Story India. The winner of this competition will get their story featured in Times of India, get an HP laptop and recognition.

I had submitted one of my stories- Destined Choice since it was completed. March 31st was the last date for submission. Stupid in Love wasn't completed which is why I never tagged this but at the very last date, I decided to tag it under YSI anyway.

I honestly didn't knew when the results of the long list would be out. I didn't even knew what was going on when on 12th of April, I got a notification that Your Story India had added Stupid in Love to their reading list- Humor. I was like-- oh maybe they selected a fav list or something. Silly me. But then, I checked their profile and saw that they were adding stories that made into the long list. Only 10 stories per genre out of 1000+ stories. Happy was an understatement, I was overjoyed.

I told my brother first and then my mother who were happy for me.

So this is unbelievable but SIL freaking made it into the long list YAHOO!!!

But here's the trick guys, I seriously need your help this time-- The YSI people will count votes on the first chapter starting from 12th  April to 28th April 2016. The vote count will  be a major criteria for getting into the next round. And no, the previous votes won't count.

I don't know if its allowed but if you love this story and want to get it selected to the next round then unvote the first chapter of Stupid in Love- I have got a shitload of luck, and then vote it again. Or if you can then please tell your friends or promote, telling them to vote for just the first chapter. I would be very grateful if you do that. I know it seems stupid to ask this but that's the criteria guys. Last date of voting is 28th April. I don't know if it will pass to the next round since the other selected stories are just as good but one can try, right?

Moving on to the story.

◆ How did I come up with this story (characters, location etc)?

You know somehow I've held this dream for quite some time-- To stay overseas for a while. I love my country but I want to explore, to discover further. I want to travel, party, socialize, try things I never did. I dream a lot but basically I do nothing. I dream of flying so high but I'm too much of a lazy ass to take off from the ground. So you see, it wasn't hard thinking of a setting and surroundings. Basically their life is the kind of youth life I dream of. While Canada is like my dream country and Australia is a close second. (Hence Destined Choice lol) Damn, I'm so envious of Vansh, Ahana and the rest, its not even funny. Ok, moving on.
