New Neighbors

"Mama, look! There's a new family moving in next door!" 7 year old Peta shouted from her room.

Her mother smiled and nodded, "Looks like that girl is around your age, honey. Why don't you say hi?"

Without hesitation, the young blonde ran out her house and into the lawn to be met by a slightly taller red head.

"Hello! I'm Peta, and I'm your neighbor! I'm 7 years old and I love dancing!"

The girl laughed, "Hi, my name is Sharna! I am also 7, and I also dance! Ballroom?"

Peta gasped, "Finally someone else who does ballroom! I'm the only one around here!"

"Not for long" Sharna smiled, and linked arms with her soon to be best friend, and soul sister.

Peta showed Sharna her dance studio, as they practiced together. Sharna gave Peta some advice on her least favorite dance styles, like foxtrot and rumba. Meanwhile, Peta helped the red head with samba and hip hop.

The two girls went from being new neighbors, to being the best of friends in a matter of two hours.

If one were to ask where the duo is now, they would faintly hear the sound of two young women giggling and saying, "Tune in to Dancing With the Stars next week on ABC at 8"
