13- Close your eyes

Nathan's pov

After telling Kerrie to go upstairs to go fetch a pair of shoes I sat on the couch patiently waiting for her to come down. I asked her to go get some shoes but it feels like she first went to buy the shoes.

I couldn't help but smile whenever I thought about her; even though she probably hasn't realised that she has my heart in her soft hands, only God knows how much I've fallen for this girl In a matter of days.

I heard her door opening and looked up and quickly got up from the couch and walked towards her stopping at the bottom of the stairs.

The moment she appeared In front of my eyes, i couldn't help but stare , i was trully lucky to have met such a soul.

She looked so beautiful wearing that dress, but that was not the only thing breath taking about her ,she would still look good in a paper bag.

She had obviously changed as she was wearing an orange dress with a bit of white on top and a layer of blue at the bottom and a pair of white flats. She also had made a plat on the side of her head.

"You are beautiful" I said and she blushed. I love it when she's shy around me, it makes me feel like maybe she has feelings for me.

"Thankyou " she replied tucking a piece of her hair behind her ear.

"Am I overdressed for wherever we're going?" she asked

"No no, what your wearing is abseluty perfect" I quickly answered not wanting her to feel bad if I took too long to answer.

She smiled.

"Well , we have somewhere to go, so let's go" I said as I intertwined our fingers together and i walked out of her house feeling complete with her with me like this.

"Your car is amazing" Kerrie squealed as her hands roamed around the interior of my car as I started driving.

"I won't say it's amazing but it's mine, bought it with my own money." I stated proudly

"Wow then you must've got a lot of tips from being a waiter huh" she said when she lightly bumped my shoulder with hers.

I chuckled when she said that.

" I can't wait to get my own car " she said dreamily.

"What kind of car are you looking for"  I asked curiously..

"A car with wheels obviously" I burst out in laughter after she said that. Her requirement for her dream car was very mundane.

"All cars have wheels" I sighed.
"You don't know that" she said with a raised eyebrow.
"I will believe that until I am proved otherwise." I said

After that interesting conversation we fell into a comfortable silence with me playing a beat with my fingers on the steering wheel.

"Are we nearly there"

I looked outside my window and noticed that we were maybe 20 to 25 minutes from our destination.
"Nope". I heard her sigh and slip into her seat.

I'm hoping today will be an unforgettable day, even though I didn't plan on bringing her to that place so soon but I thought it was perfect as she was bored and I had her all to myself. Maybe it had to do with the fact that I already had something planned, I just needed the perfect destination. Okay that kind of sounded stalkerish, I can cross out that serenade I was planning on doing for her to ask her to come with me,

I saw her hand reach up and turn on the radio and Cake by the ocean by DNCE was playing. I saw her face light up like a Christmas tree and she started singing along. Her voice was trully angelic even though it kind of sounded like she was just screaming , i could listen to her talk, and laugh all day. Her laugh, her laugh was magical , if I could hear that everyday I would never feel down.

Kerrie's pov

"Are we there yet" I asked for the millionth time.

I don't know why I didn't think of it before but we were driving for a pretty long time, What if this boy was driving me to my doom. There could be a nice looking bridge ready for him to jump us over ending with both of us dead. He could be a serial killer for all I know. But i knew what I was thinking was absolutely ridiculous, he could never do that 'Yeah he's too cute to do that' a voice inside my head said.  

"Yes we're here" he said disrupting my thoughts. I heaved out a heavy sigh as I thought of more driving ...wait did he just say what I think he said... WE'RE HERE Finally.

"Okay close your eyes" he demanded

"But why" I tried to reason with him but the look he gave me told me to just close my eyes.

I closed my eyes and i heard him open his door and get out, the cold breeze flew into the interior of the car and gave me goosebumps all over my skin.

I heard loud boots crushing what I assume wss rocks so that told me that we were somewhere rocky. He opened the door for me.

"Hold my hand" he said and i quickly took a hold of his hand as the anticipation was killing me. He pulled me out of the car and we walked a few metres before he stopped and let go of my hand.

"Nathan" I whined because he let go and i kind of felt lost as I still had my eyes closed.

"Dont worry your fine, just stand still" he said and he sounded not too far from me.

"Open your eyes"
