Kaylene made pancakes for breakfast in the shape of reindeer, gingerbread men, and even Santa Clause, along with hash browns and bacon. She warned us to not eat too much though because we were going to have a big dinner and she planned on making us "fat" off of all the sweets she baked. Being werewolves though we are always hungry so I wasn't too worried about overeating as I stuffed my face with the delicious home cooked meal.

After breakfast we moved to the living room where Beowulf's dad, Samuel, lit a fire in the fireplace. It is stunning how alike Beowulf and his dad look. They both share the same dark black hair and green eyes but Samuel is sporting a very geeky pair of black rimmed glasses, although Beowulf has much brighter and original eyes than his father does, and he is just as tall as his son at six foot with a strong muscular build to his body. Samuel shares the same love of Boxing just as his only son does, he mentioned how he likes to workout with Beowulf on the weekends, and he shares the same interest in the band Limp Bizkit.

We opened presents because Annie Jo was begging to open them so we went ahead and opened them. Beowulf wasn't too happy that everyone bought him gifts, especially his parents, he said something about them not supposed to buy him anything after his truck. I kept my gift separate though and told him I would give it to him later when we were in private. If he doesn't want anyone knowing we are dating yet then I can't give him his gift in front of everyone.

Currently we are all sitting on the white carpeted flooring in the living room surrounding a board game of 'LIFE'. Beowulf is married with three kids, two boys and one girl, and a shitload of loans. While I on the other hand am married with just a son and daughter and no loans just because I chose not to go to college. My dad and Samuel both have a ton of loans as well with a full car of kids. My mom decided not to play as she helped Kaylene in the kitchen, taking Annie Jo with her since she is too little to play the game yet. Beowulf's asshole cousin Braider decided to disappear after breakfast, which couldn't have made me happier. Every time I see the ass it pisses me off and makes me want to punch him in his ugly face.

I laugh as Beowulf lands on a little square that says "Tree falls on house, pay $10,000".

"Oh shut up," He says as nudges my shoulder and throws $10,000 dollars in the bank.

"Serves you right, I told you, you should have gotten ensured like I did," I laugh.

"Shut up," He grumbles.

By the time the game ended Samuel was the winner by $20,000, with me in second place, my dad in third, and Beowulf's sorry ass in last place all because he couldn't pay off his loans in time. HA, serves him right for pursuing the college life, he didn't even get a job that required a degree, sucker.

"God, I hate this game," Beowulf complains.

"You're just upset that you lost," I laugh.

"No, I just really hate this game," He mutters.

Samuel and my dad just laugh at our bickering. Just then Annie Jo comes running in with her own little apron wrapped around her body and flour smudged on it along with it on her face. She runs right up to Beowulf and hops in his lap causing me to smile. I love that my mate and sister hit it off so well.

"Wulf, guess what, guess what, guess what?" She shrieks.

"Uhm," Beowulf taps his chin in thought. "You decided you were going to dye your hair purple?"

"Nooooooo," She draws out with a giggle. "Guess again,"

"Hmm, let me think here," He says as he scrunches up his nose in the most adorable way possible.
