Chapter 46 FINALE

**Beowulf**  

"You rented a cabin?" Ridge asks with a smile and raised brows.

"Yeah, but since I'm not twenty-one my mom signed off for it with the promise that we behaved ourselves and didn't have sex," I reply as my hands on the steering wheel are tight.

"No sex huh?" He says as he wiggles his eyebrows at me causing me to laugh.

"Yup," I say as I pop the 'P'. "But who knows, maybe I'll let you get a bit frisky tonight," I say with a smirk before I jump out of my truck.

I pull the duffel bag out of the backseat just as Newbie makes his way around to me. Who am I kidding? I planned this cabin thing just so we could have sex together. I'm sure Newbie has already caught on too. I don't just want to lose my virginity tonight, I want to make love to Newbie. I want to show him that I trust him enough to have sex with him. And I may also want him to mark me.

We've talked more about marking and what it really means to be marked. I know that I'll have his scent on my skin somehow making other werewolves not mess with me. I know that our hearts will sync up and he will be able to pick up on my emotions better. I know that it will bring us both closer together as a couple and mates. I know it will satisfy both Ridge and his wolf who have been waiting patiently to mark me. I know that once it happens everyone in his pack will be able to sense it, even unmated wolves, once they see me. And most importantly, I know I will be able to hear him in my mind.

The mind thing still has me confused but he said once it actually happens I won't worry so much about it. Ridge says that mates have their own mind link to talk to each other through, making life easier if your cell phone is dead. Only the mind link is just like a cell phone, you have to be in range to get service. He says anywhere on his pack grounds you can hear the mind link, but if he was at his house and I was at mine it would be too far away to work. I guess that will be pretty cool.

I lick my cold lips as I unlock the door and push it open. The air inside is chilly but Ridge's jacket keeps me warm. I smile as I take in a whiff of the cologne he wears that still lingers on the leather jacket.

"Do you want me to light a fire, baby?" Newbie asks next to me as he runs his fingers down my cheek. "You're still freezing,"

"Yeah," I reply as I shiver. "That would be great,"

"Okay, I'll get one started," He says with a smile before he walks over to the fireplace.

The cabin is small with only two bedrooms, I wanted the one bedroom since the extra wouldn't be used, even if we didn't have sex tonight I still want to fall asleep next to him. But my mom wasn't about to hear that so I didn't even recommend getting the cheaper one bedroom cabin. The front door walks right into the small wooden living room complete with one leather couch and two leather recliners. The fireplace is made out of rocks with a flat screen T.V above it. The kitchen is to the left of the front door which can be seen from the living room. The whole place is basically one big open area except for the two bedrooms that are actually closed off and private.

I smile as I watch Newbie easily light the fire in the fireplace using the wood already provided and a box of matches. Within seconds the room lights up with the warm glow of the fire. I smile all the way to the master bedroom to drop off the duffel bag. Once back in the living room Newbie is flopped down on the couch with his phone to his ear.
