Chapter 23

The next day after school, the group of friends headed to Ash's house for the sleepover. When they arrived they dropped their stuff and watched some TV and had something to eat.
"What do you guys want to do?" Sqaishey asked
"How about we show our skills in Minecraft, we haven't seen each other play it before" Martyn suggested
"Nice idea" Dan agreed and they set up a survival world and had goes at killing mobs, parkour, building, etc.
Squid was brilliant at archery and parkour.
"Wow Squid, your really good" Stampy commented seeing Squid finish some lava parkour
"Meh, it's not too hard" Squid stated
"So, what's next?" Netty asked
"Hide and seek" Lee stated and they agreed on Amy to be the seeker whilst everyone else hid.
The order they were found was Squid, James, Ash, Snake, Tom, Nicole, Finnball, Sqaishey, Martyn, Dan, Stampy, Netty, then Lee. No wonder he suggested it since he was such a great hider
"I can see why you chose hide and seek" James said smirking
"Yeah, I always win" Lee laughed
"Have you guys decided if you are going to sign up for the talent show yet?" Snake asked
"Yeah I'm going to" Ash stated
"I don't see the point, only the greatest singers win" Squid said crossing his arms
"What, you don't reckon I'm good enough?"
"No, I'm just saying, it's stupid to enter and most likely someone else will win"
"So you are saying I am bad!" Ash yelled getting in Squid's face
"Well technically I am, you won't win, I know that so I don't see why you would enter the stupid show!" 
"Fine then what ever, I don't care what you think, it's my decision and I thought you were my friend!"
"I am your friend!" Squid yelled louder making himself clear
"Well, your not acting like one, friends stand up for each other, you haven't changed at all David, you haven't changed at all!" Ash yelled leaving Squid shocked.
Ash then ran upstairs into his room. Squid had a tear roll down his face.
"Maybe your right" Squid whispered and walked off into another room.
The others were shocked at what just happened.
"I'll go talk to Squid" Tom said as he followed Squid.
The others went and did their own things. Nicole was walking to the room she was staying in and heard music coming from, Ash's room. Nicole opened the door slightly and saw Ash playing guitar and singing 'Thinking Out Loud' she saw the others walking upstairs except Squid and Tom and shushed them and they walked over and watched.

When Ash finished his friends applauded him and turned around in shock.
"You guys were listening?" Ash asked
"Yes and it was very good" Finnball stated
"Really?"
"Yes indeed" Sqaishey agreed.
Just then Tom walked up the stairs puffed
"What's up with you?" Martyn asked
"Ok, let's just say, don't ever get me to talk to Squid again to explain why he is angry because boy, you gotta know self defence or be a good runner if he explodes" Tom explained
"And he exploded?" Dan insisted
"Yeah"
"I can't get over that idiot, he hasn't changed, I knew it from the start" Ash said frowning
"Look Ash, just forget what happened and enter that show, you will win, we all know that" Stampy said
"You really think so?"
"Yes" Netty agreed
"Alright, I will" Ash said and was hi fived.
