The next day, all of the year elevens received their senior shirts with their name on the back and the school's logo on the front. They also received their report cards which were excellent. Squid's report card had improved by a mile, from D's to B's. It was also the last day of school for all of them. Everyone couldn't wait for Summer break to begin. The group of friends were having a game of basketball in the sports hall. Snake just shot from half way across the court, dodging a block from Tom. Then Squid stole the ball and ran all the way up the court with the others failing to catch up and he scored.
"So, what are you guys doing these summer holidays?" Nicole asked
"I don't know, probably hanging about at home" Finnball guessed
"Yeah that's what I'm doing" Sqaishey said.
"Well, this weekend I'm catching up with family down the coast" Martyn stated
"Well, I'm living with my family now but, I might be doing a few Skype calls to my parents" Tyson said
"Maybe we should all get together over the holidays, that would be cool" Lee suggested
"Yeah we should do that" Dan agreed.
"Well let's see what happens, right now we are playing basketball" Stampy said as he threw the basketball into the hoop.
They then continued to play, all of them hyperactive, waiting for last period to arrive.
