Tippy Toes

I see her dancing,
Across the room.
I want to learn,
Want to be like her,
Even though she's already whisked me away...
~
Swirling and twirling, there's no way to lose,
It's simple, all you have to do is move.
Learn the moves, be light on your feet.
Graceful, poised, listen to the beat.
Skipping along, don't you dare fall behind.
Pretend when they touch that you don't even mind.
One little stumble, if you so much as trip up,
She'll be watching, and you'll ruin all you've set up.
That hard work, all gone in a moment,
She's never seen you as a worthy opponent.
You feel like such a tragedy,
While she shines in all her majesty.
If I could offer a word of advice,
Know that to her, you'll never suffice.
So escape, don't be shackled down,
Even though you may be breathing now...
~
I see her dancing,
Across the world.
I'll always follow,
Dragged along by my own denial,
Since the day she whirled me away...
A/N: I honestly don't know what happened with this one. I was thinking back to today when I had dancing in P.E, then I thought of the very first line, and hey presto! A new poem! I'd been itching to write one for quite some time, but couldn't think of what to write about. Anyway, I'm not sure what this one means yet, although I think it has something to do with my previous poem... Let me know what you think of it. I send you all virtual hugs, and I hope you vote and/or comment. Bye all you lovely Chicas!
