Look at what you've done to her,
A mere shadow of society.
Hollowed out by the constant torment, eating her away,
From the inside.
Simply a shell of her former self,
She doesn't need you to stomp on her heart,
And throw it to the wolves.
She thinks all dreams come true,
But you never told her,
Nightmares are dreams too.
She has a reason to be so reticent.
You were her everything,
And she would've been yours,
If you hadn't thrown it all away.
She loved you, needed you.
Yet all you could do is break her.
A/N: I've had what I call a 'poetic itch' in the back of my brain for the past few days, where I know I want to write something, but just can't draw inspiration from anything. I've finally been able to get some words onto a page, which resulted in... whatever this is. Thanks for reading, please vote and/or comment and I hope you enjoy my update. :)
