A new thought lurks in the back of my mind,
One that's only just occurred, after all this time.
I can't help but wonder if you could finish the puzzle,
If the clues I left are not actually that subtle.
What would happen if it was all found,
If you unlocked the struggle I had buried deep down.
Would you know if you heard my cries at night?
Or noticed that with you around I always take flight?
Could you tell if you saw the ink on my page?
If you noticed me shudder under your gaze?
I wonder if you'll ever realise it's true,
That the one who broke me was actually you.
