Today is the day,
Someone will stop to say hi,
Fears will be conquered,
And a bird will fly.
Today is the day,
Someone's scars will heal,
A person picks up the phone,
And an anorexic will eat a meal.
Today is the day,
Someone says 'I do',
A parent holds their child,
And someone's thinking of you.
Today is the day,
We all stand together,
Someone challenges their limits,
And a friendship is forged forever
We all have that one day,
That changes the world.

A/N: I was reading an amazing poem written by beautifullyinsane923 called 'Will you be next?' and it was so uplifting, absolutely beautiful.
