I picked at the grass and created a small pile beside me as Jake looked between myself and Mr Jones several times. "I mean, there might be a similarity?" He said to me finally.

"Please stop. If it is true then let me find out. To be honest I dont care if he really is my father. I dont need him anymore" I shrugged.

"If you are his daughter, you probably shouldn't tell anyone" he said quietly.

I heard him and my head cocked to the side. "Why?"

"When Peter Pan sent Willow away he did it so that she wouldnt have Hook for a father. Pan might send her away again" he said quietly. His head gestured behind us and I turned to see Mr Pan and Miss Darling talking. A boy my age ran up to them. He had reddish-brown hair and freckles dotted across his nose and cheeks. Something about him seemed familiar.

"Felix" Jake said scowling. "He's Jasper's best friend" I nodded and turned back to Merida as she watched a blonde boy go face first into a pile of mud.

"Next round. Jake, Lexi, Jasper, Tristan and Sapphire" Merida called out.

"Fun.." I muttered as Jake helped me up. I walked down the hill and into the arena.

Jake leaned in "You need to win if you want to find out about your father" he whispered.

My eyes widened as I realised he was right. I walked into the ring and watched the goblins appear. "Just get them out of the ring" Merida said smiling. "Go!" She yelled and everyone ran at the goblins. Shocked, I took a moment to realise what was going on before I ran at a goblin.

Straight away Lexi splayed her hands and a beam of light hit the goblin and knocked him out of the ring. As soon as he crossed the line he exploded into blue glitter.

There was a small pond just outside the ring and Jasper raised his hand. The water came out of the pond and glided into the ring. I watched in amazement as the wave picked the goblin up and carried it out of the ring.

I shook myself out of my thoughts and looked around. Jake looked flustered as he stared at a goblin. His hands were smoking as he searched for a way to knock the troll out of the ring without lighting him on fire. I watched as Tristan started going red as he changed. A few hairs had sprouted when a goblin barrelled into his chest and sent him flying back.

I heard Jake laughing and watched as he chased the goblin out with a ball of fire in his hand. 3 goblins down. Only 1 left. And I hadn't moved. I ran at the goblin and it jumped onto my chest. It clawed at my dress and ripped the sleeve. I rolled over and pinned the goblin down as it clawed at my face. I held it down with one hand and it clawed at my arm drawing blood. "You little..." I was cut off by someone grabbing my shoulders and pulling me back.

I yelped in surprise and looked to see Tristan now wrestling with the goblin. "I dont think so" I muttered as I pushed Tristan off the goblin. I ripped the sleeve from my dress and tied it around the goblins hands so it couldnt claw me again. I stood up and went to kick it out the ring when Tristan tackled me to the ground again. "I can't go out in the first round" he hissed at me.

I rolled out from underneath him "Well dont think I'm going down without a fight" I hissed back. He grabbed my ankle as I crawled away and yanked me back. I felt my knees scrape against loose rocks and I winced. I kicked back and hit his nose "Sorry" I said as I scrambled up and kicked the goblin as hard as I could towards the edge of the ring.

"No!" Tristan yelled as he jumped up beside me. His nose was bleeding but he didnt seem to care. As the goblin disapeared he turned to me with an icy glare "You always ruin everything don't you" he hissed.

"Tristan. There had to be a winner. Dont be a sore loser" I smiled. "Better luck next term"

His expression didnt change. "I thought we were friends Saph"

"We are friends Trissy. And I'm sorry if I.." he shoved me and I tripped over a rock and fell. I sat on the floor and watched him walk away. Lexi rushed over to comfort him and sent a glare my way. I stood up and walked out of the ring. I sat on the grass next to Jake and started to wipe dirt away from my cut knees as best I could. I stared at my ripped dress as if that would fix it but it didn't.

"What was that about?" Jake said as he watched me worriedly.

"I dont want to talk about it" I muttered as I stared at my knees.

"Are you sure?" Jake said raising an eyebrow. I shook my head and he nodded. His arm wrapped around my shoulders and I leaned into him.

"He's one of my best friends. Or was" I said sadly. "He really wanted to win and said that I ruin everything" I pulled away from Jake and turned to face him. "Do I ruin everything?" I blinked back tears and went to bite my nails but tasted leather instead. I frowned.

Jake smiled "Of course not Sapphire. I've had so much fun since I met you"

"Call me Saph. I hate my name" I shook my head as I tried to change the subject.

"Okay Saph. On another note. When can you take your gloves off?"

"I'm not actually sure" I admitted. "This day couldnt get any worse so what the heck"

"What are you.. Wait! Don't!" Jake said as I pulled my gloves off. I stretched my fingers and nothing happened.

"See told you I'd be fine" I said as I pointed my finger at him. He tried to dodge out of the way. "Are you scared of me?" I laughed.

"A little bit" he laughed. I giggled and lunged at him. He rolled over and started to tickle my ribs "Stop!" I pleaded.

"Who's scared now" he laughed. I kicked about and laughed as I tried to stop him. He stopped and I sat up. I ran my hand over my ripped dress and it repaired itself. "See I'm fine" I said smiling.
