Chapter 4 (repost)

I felt cold wind blow over my back and someone cough. I looked up and saw myself staring down at me. She had an eyebrow raised and a hand on her hip. Wait. That wasnt me. It was Saph. Her hair was darker and came down in ringlets and her eyes were fully black, they stood out against her ghostly white skin.

I looked around and saw a brightly coloured forest full of beautuful flowers I had never seen before and strange birds flew above.

"Saph?" I said. My voice cracked and she sighed.

"Really? I leave you alone for just over a day and you start to crumble?" She said in a mocking manner.

I ignored her. "Where are we? And why do you have a body?"

She looked around. "I recognise this place but I dont know why" she said. I stood beside her and she smiled. "And now that I've got a body of my own we can have a proper conversation"

I smiled back at her. "Yes. But first can we figure out where we are? Because a second ago we were in my head. I mean our head" I corrected myself.

"I think we still are. Technically. But I think Felix misplaced us. We cant stay in our head as I can only stay there whilst you're in control and you can only stay there whilst I'm in control. We must have been moved by the spell" She sighed.

"How do you know this?" I asked.

"Because when we were younger I used to pay attention to Felix. You used to just sneak glances at Caelan" Saph smiled proudly.

"You make me sound like a horrible person" I sighed.

"You were a 5 year old with a crush. I however was trying to figure out how to get out your head. Felix was no help. I just found out a whole lot about a place called.." she trailed off. "I know where we are. We need to get out of here" she said. I had never known her to be scared.

"Saph. Where are we?" I asked worried.

"We're in Wonderland" she said and glanced around her.

"Whats so bad about Wonderland?" I said confused.

"Its not the same place as it is in the book. Its a trap. A spell goes wrong and you're sent here. It makes you go mad. The worst thing is. Nothing you do can stop it" she said worried. "Cant you see? Everything here is dying. And we will too if we dont leave"

I looked at our surroundings. "Saph. Everything is very clearly alive. Actually its beautiful" I giggled as a flower opened and a blue butterfly flew into it. I looked back at Saph who stared at me with her mouth open. "What?"

"Its already started. The phone Willow. Wheres the phone?" She said and started searching me.

"I threw it away why?" I asked her.

She stepped back. "We need Felix and Caelan to get you out of here. Right now"

I heard a clock chime and I laughed. "Come on! Lets have some fun first" I laughed and grabbed her wrist and dragged her through the trees. We ran to a clearing where a long table sat. It was set for tea. A few creatures and people sat at the table.

A man with crazy red hair, some sort of hare a door mouse, a purple cat, a woman wearing a blue dress with long blonde hair and a white rabbit wearing a waistcoat.. The man saw us and smiled. "We have guests! Just in time for tea" he shouted in a sing song voice. He started laughing and so did everyone else seated at the table. "Sit! Have some tea and cake" the man offered.

I ran over and sat in an empty chair and pulled Saph down beside me. She seemed on edge. "Twins! Just like the Tweedles!" The woman giggled.

I laughed. "It's a bit more complicated than that. You see we're the same person" I dont know why I was telling them but I just felt I could trust them. Saph glared at me but I ignored her.
