The reception lasted for hours. So long even Poppy was beginning to get tired. She had danced with pretty much the entire village, but along with her first dance with her new husband, the dance she had with her father was one of her most memorable dances in her life.

When Peppy walked onto the dance floor with Poppy, he couldn't help but cry. The troll in white softly laughed and hugged her father.

     "Dad, it's alright."

"I'm sorry.. I can't help it.." He sniffled.

"One moment you were a little girl who liked sticking bows in your old man's hair.. And now.. You're a grown woman who's opening a new door in her life.. You have a husband now.. Sooner or later you two are gonna have your first baby.." Poppy blinked in confusion with the last part, but attempted to shake it off.

"You're not a little girl anymore.." He spoke, more tears falling. The queen gave him a soft smile, again wiping away his tears.

"Just because Branch is apart of my life now doesn't mean I'm gonna leave you behind." He looked upward at her sweet smile.

"I'm still gonna be your little girl."

The two trolls gave each other a tight hug as their song ended. Then she whispered in his ear.

"I love you Dad.." He couldn't help but give a smile in return.

     "I love you too princess.."

When the wedding was over, Branch and Poppy walked hand in hand home together alone, enjoying the peacefulness of it all. He could hear her hum to true colors and began to hum along with her. Their walking soon turned into waltzing, being very careful where they were stepping. They stopped after their humming session was over and just looked at each other. Her eyes shimmered like the stars in the sky and so did his. The pink troll gave him a soft peck on his nose.

"I love you so much." She said in a whisper tone.

"I love you as much as you do."

Hand in hand again, the two walked all the way to Poppy's home, were they had both been staying for a while together. She let out a squees as he lifted her up, but couldn't help but laugh in between her many kisses on his cheek as he carried her to their bedroom. After setting her down, Branch jumped onto their bed, Poppy following behind.

"You have no idea how tired I am." Branch said with a yawn.

"I feel you. I'd never thought I'd feel so exhausted after a party." Poppy said rubbing her eyes. She wiggled closer to her new husband as she wrapped her arms and legs around him so he couldn't break free even if he wanted to. The teal troll looked down at his bride.

"So, we have a week without anyone or any responsibilities. What do you want to do?"

They never really talked about their honeymoon since they were both busy with wedding plans. But now that it was here, they weren't really sure what to do.

"I don't really want to go away, but I don't want to just stay here.." It was weird to not know what to do next. Ever since Poppy had became queen, she was always busy with something whether it was her business or taking her father's spot, it always had kept it on her toes.

"We could start planning your coronation!" She tried to speak enthusiastically. Branch gave her an unimpressed look.

"From the way you say that, I'm go for a no."

Poppy laid on the bed, silent for a minute.

"How about we just go with wherever the wind takes us?" She said with a smile looking up and him.

"That sounds like a great idea." Branch said with a smile. He pecked her forehead and without even changing into normal clothes, the two fell asleep, awaiting for what the next few days had to bring to them.
