When I arrive at the Cricket Club the next day with Javi, something seemed off. And that's not strange for me to say now a days because everything seems off. Right from the first day I saw Romano watching us from the viewing window, I was suspicious about him and since then my instincts have always been right
"Something seems off Javi" I start
"Is because your boyfriend isn't here?"
"Well that an-"
"Oh so he is your boyfriend?"
"I'm not even gonna answer that. But like I said, I'm getting a bad feeling" I say
"Then lead the way, oh wise one!" Javi calls
And so I lead the way
Into the rink
There's no one on the ice or in the rink, which is expected since we're early today
"I'm not catching onto what you're getting at Charlie.." Javi trails off
"Look!"I shout point to a small patch on the ice
Small specks of red liquid are scattered on a patch of ice near the sidelines
"Is that blood?" Javi questions
"Seems like it...let's get a better look" I say moving towards the scene of the crime
"It doesn't look like a small injury, there wouldn't be that much bloo-"
"Hey guys!"
"AHHHHH!" Javi and I scream in unison
We jump a 180 degree turn to find Yuzu standing behind us with his duffle bad slung over his shoulder and Pooh-san in his arms
"Hey sorry I'm late, my mom had to stop to get something along the way. So what are you up?" He asks
"We're into something Yuzu" Javi whispers like it's top secret info
"The assassins are back at it" I say doing a little karate chop
"Is that blood?" Yuzu asks just like Javi
If Javi is the captain of the Yuzulotte ship, then I would say I'm the captain of the Yuzuvier ship
"It looks fresh too" I say
"Look there's a trail" Yuzu says point to the storage room near the back
"Then let's go amigos!" Javi says jumping up from his crouched position and heading toward the storage room
"Wait!" He stop all of a sudden
"We could be the three amigos.." he says in DEAD serious voice
"Ok yes Javi, you can call us whatever you want to call us. Now let's go figure out this mystery" I say pushing him forward
As we approach the storage area, I reach forward to open the door
It's unlocked!
I flick on the lights and the three of us venture into the storage area
It's smells in here
Like something's rotting
I push aside a goalie net and a few bins of equipment, discovering the body behind it
"Oh my god.." I gasp
"Mamma Mia..."Javi mutters before placing his hand over his mouth
Yuzu just shoves Pooh-san over his face to block the gory view
Sitting in the back of the storage room sits,Debby from the front desk, with a machete sliced through the top of her skull
"Wait a minute" I say as I inch closer to the dead body
There's something smeared on the wall, almost like a.....handprint?
"Guys, we have more evidence!"
On that note, the three of us burst from the storage room, ready to make an important phone call

Practice got cancelled today since the police had to investigate the crime. Police tape covered the front of the Cricket Club as well as the storage room area
"It's a perfect match to Jordan Romano" says Detective James
"But why would he target Debby?" I ask
"Good question Ms. Akagi. We'll search the body for clues"
And off the team went searching Debby's body for clues
"I think we're gonna catch him this time" Javi says excitedly
The team of investigators returned with her cell phone and her wallet. After not finding any clues in the wallet, they turned to the cell phone instead
It took time for the team to rig it open, but eventually they got into her phone
"Pull up her messages. I suspect she was blackmailed" Detective said to his assistant
Surely enough the most recent messages were sent from Romano
Detective James scrolls up to the beginning of the messages and surely enough, Debby was blackmailed
J: Do we have a deal? $4000 for helping me get the girl. You just gotta deny her every time she get's suspicious of me. Deal?
D: I'm willing to help if that mean you can help me get my son into a good University
Is that why she was so bitchy all the time? Because Romano was blackmailing her?
It dawned on me why Debby was such an asshole, and I mean she loves her child enough to risk her life and mine to help him with his education
But still, was it worth it to make a deal with the Mafia?
"Romano will be found. Do not worry ok?" Detective reassures

Time: A week from then
"Italian Mafia leader, Jordan Romano was taking into custody after 4 accounts of murder and harassment towards Sochi Olympic medalist, Charlotte Akagi, as well as other crimes commitment in the far past. He will be taken back to Italy where he will face a lifetime sentence"
The "Three Amigos" as Javi calls us, are sat at Yuzu's house watching the good news unfold
"All in a days work, boys!" I shout, raising my glass of milk for the boys cheer their glasses on
Life was finally starting to feel like it was normal again
