The Bad News Begins

Javi, Yuzu, and I walk into the Chatime store and my eyes instantly begin to search around the shop for Keith

In the very back of the store, I spot him sitting at a table for four with his grey hoodie over his head

"Charlie are you sure he told us to meet here?" Javi whispers to me

"No Javi I just wanted to drag you guys to get bubble tea" I say sarcastically

Actually, come to think of it I'm really down to get a taro bubble tea...

"Let's go see Keith" I say and the boys follow me to him 

"Keith" I whisper loud enough to get his attention 

"Charlotte" he says looking up from the table and shooting us a smile

"Sit" he says motioning his hand to the three empty chairs

And we do

"So what's up?" I start

"I got bad news.." he says dead serious "And we gotta speak in English okay? Everyone here can understand Japanese.." he adds

"Well thank god man. Siri can only help me so far" Javi complains

"Javi shush!" Yuzu whispers to him 

"So I got some insider news from a friend who's in the same prison as Romano. Word is he's planning on rebuilding his Mafia with people he's chatted up with in the prison. Do you know how bad this is? He's locked in a maximum security prison. The people he's mingling with have done things worse than he has. If he builds that Mafia, we're screwed! The world is screwed!" Keith informs 

"Well that's comforting.." I add sarcastically

"I don't mean to scare you Charlotte,but bad things are happening..." 

"That's a no brainer" Javi scoffs

"Keith, how can we stop this?" Yuzu asks

"We can't. All we can do right now is wait until Romano makes his first move. Trust me, the three of you, I'm doing my best and I want to protect Charlotte as much as you two do" he says directing his last phrase at Javi and Yuzu 

"For now, all I can do is get word from the insider and those that I trust full heartedly in the Yakuza" Keith adds 

"Thank you. For everything. I appreciate that you're helping us" Yuzu tells Keith sincerely

"No problem dude. I'd protect Charlotte no matter what"
