"Alright guys, we need to figure this thing out. How much do we actually know about Romano?" Javi asks, slamming his hands down onto the wooden table

He's standing at the peak of the table like his the CEO of a billion dollar business but actually he's just speaking to his rink friends

Oh, and this time Coach is in the loop

"Well for one we know he's  a psychopath" I say stating the obvious

"Yes!" Javi says pointing a whiteboard marker at me

"Now what else, what else...ah! Hanyu! What do you got for me buddy?" he asks pointing the marker at Yuzu

"Ummmm...he's out of prison?" he says stating the known facts

"Yes, yes..." Javi says pacing around the living room

I honestly don't know what he's trying to get at here but I trust him to know something

"Javi, what exactly are you trying to get at?" Coach asks frustrated

And honestly, I'm frustrated too at this point

"We need to figure out his patterns, that way we can tell when he's coming next" Javi says

He turns around to the professional whiteboard that he bought and swings it around so the bulletin board side is showing. There, all the letters I've collected from him hang. All the dates are written out, the days he sent those things to me, but there's no pattern

"Javi, I appreciate your help buddy, I really do. But don't you think we're not getting anywhere?" I ask

"We are getting somewhere. We are Charlie I promi-"

Then I see it

"Did you see that guys?" I ask getting up from my spot at the table and heading towards the front where all the items I've received lay, excluding the roses...those died a while ago...

"See wha-ohhh" Yuzu asks following my lead

"There! The swan pendant. Did you see that?" I ask again

"Now I don't know what you're getting at" Coach asks looking at the pendant intensely

"There!" I say pointing it out again

The swan pendant lit-up red ever so slightly, so slightly it would take a cat's eye to catch

"You guys saw that right?" I ask looking at the boys

"You said that was the most recent gift right?" Javi asks

I nod and like the speed of light, Javi swoops up the pendant into his hands and starts to investigate it

"I think there's more to this than a necklace..." Javi says

The three of us watch as he digs through some draws and eventually pulls out a tiny screwdriver 

"I'm gonna see if I can break this thing ope-"

"WAIT!" I shout

"What why? Don't you want to see what it really is?" Coach asks

"I do. Trust me. But we need a professional. We need Keith"

"I'm sorry to Skype you this late Keith but I need your help" I tell him through my laptop screen

"Hmmm? What is it Charlotte?" he asks rubbing the sleep from his eyes

Here in Canada it's the middle of the day, but I guess back in Japan it's about 3 a.m

"This. Romano give it to me back the Grand Prix final" I tell him holding up the necklace in front of the screen

"A necklace?"

"Look closely. You should see it" I tell him moving the charm closer to the laptop camera 

"Is it that red blink?" he asks squinting his eyes to look closer at it

"Yeah! What do you think it is?" I ask

"Hmm, flip it on it's side. Does it look like a locket?"

I do as he says and flip it over, staring closer at the small crack in the middle of it

"Yeah it does" I say trying to flip it open

"Your gonna need something fine to open it. Like a screw driver. Your hands won't be able to open it" he tells me

And Javi was on it

I watch as he pops the pendant open with the screw driver and inside contains some rams and other high tech looking things

"Umm Keith? What's this?" I ask showing him the inside 

He stares closely at it before his eyes shoot open, realizing what it is

"Charlotte, I need you to get rid of it now!" he says in a panic

"What? Why?" 

"It's a tracker"
