Give me love ( a yuzuru hanyu fanfic) UNDER MAJOR EDITING

Sounds like Bad News

After the ladies short program and after the zamboni resurfaced the ice, it was time for the men's short event 

"You know, Yuzuru always picks the most intricate outfits" Maia points out from beside me

Her and Alex still had to compete in the short dance which was tomorrow, so today was her day off before competing

"Hmmm you're right. I always thought his purple outfit looked adorable on him" I reply 

"You guys are really my goals. A couple of record breaking kids in love. How cute?!" Maia sequels and pinches my cheek 

"Thanks Maia. I love you buddy" I laugh 

"But seriously congrats on breaking your own world record. 86.87, is a killer score and that quad sal was close to being landed. I know you can get it in the free" she says 

"Gentlemen please clear the ice. Your 6 minute warm up is over"

"Good luck Yuzu" I whisper under my breath

"Skating next and representing Japan, Yuzuru Hanyu" 

"Here we go" Maia says from beside me 

"I hope he can get the quad loop" I say back 

The music to "Let's go Crazy" fills the rink and Yuzu's program is in full swing 

He skates up into his quad loop and is launched across the rink, the landing of his jump was hunched over but never the less, landed

You can see the bright smile on his face as he laughs about his small mistake on the quad loop and carries onto his program 

His GOE scores will go down for that jump, but the points for the jump will be there

His music from Prince is always so contagious, that I can't help but sing along

You see I called my old lady

I watch as he twists into his quad sal, triple toe combination and lands the jump flawlessly 

His program goes on and he's hit all the components including a beautifully landed triple axel 

"Come on Yuzu!" I shout when he's in his final spin 

And he's done

The crowd goes wild along with Maia and I 

"He's in first that's for sure" Maia tells me

"Do you think he broke his record?" I ask

"He'll be close. I'm not sure how hard the judges will be on that quad loop landing though" she says 

I hold the flowers for Yuzu in my hand, ready to give them to him once he's free from the Kiss & Cry 

"The scores please...106.53..he is currently in first place. This concludes the men's short program event" 

"Ok not a world record but close" Maia says 

"Let's go see him" I cheer and grab her hand pulling her with me to go find Coach, Javi, and Yuzu 

"Yuzu-kun!" I cheer leaping out to hug him 

"Charlie-chan!" he cheers back 

"These are for you" I say passing him the flowers 

"Thank you love. It wasn't a world record but-"

"It was a season's best and that's all I need" I tell him pressing a soft kiss to his lips allowing the familiar spark feeling fill my stomach

I'm stuck alone in Yuzu and I's hotel  room watching "Mamma Mia" while him and Javi have gone out to grab take out for the three of us

This was one of my favourite movies as a kid since Rey and I would always dance to the songs. I've memorized all the lyrics. As kids, we'd always joke that this was how we'd plan out our weddings with wild dance numbers and goofing around with  friends 

Ring! Ring! Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiing!

Huh? Could it be the boys calling?

I check out the caller display on my phone and read out "Keith"

This could be urgent. Very urgent 

"Hey Keith" I call into the phone

My hear is racing because to me, this sounds like bad news 

"Charlotte!" he says in a cheerful voice 

"Ummm, hey... Keith.." I repeat again

"So I saw your skate today. Great job on beating your own record" he says with a laugh

"Oh thanks. Didn't land the quad or anything though. Now why are you really calling?" 

That's the thing about Keith. Although we haven't talked in years I still know his mannerism. Like the fact that he'll always bring up good news before the bad news

"Charlotte.." he says again and this time in a worried voice

"Keith.." I say in an equally as worried voice

Whatever he says can't be good

I can feel it

"Romano's out of prison. There was some mad prison riot that he led and now him and some other fugitives have escaped. I'm doing my best to find out how to stop him, but please don't let this distract you from doing well in your free skate tomorrow ok? I thought I'd let you know before it was too late" he finished

I can't speak

I can't move

I  can't breath 

After all the happiness and joy I've got to experience after he was put away was to be destroyed by him coming back 

All the love I've shared with Yuzuru was to be put in jeopardy once again 

My life and so many others are now at stake 

"Charlotte? Charlotte? Are you still there?" Keith asks from the other line

"When?" I ask

"Huh?"

"When did he escape?"

"About 2 hours ago. If I'm correct. I'm doing my best to find out what's he's doing next, but please focus on your skating" he says in a stern voice

"Ok. Thank you for letting me know Keith. Please keep me updated" I say

"Always. I'll call you later Charlie. Bye" he says

I reply with a bye before hanging up and right on cue, Yuzu and Javi walk through the door

"Hey, hey, hey guess who got your fav!" Javi laughs walking in with a take out container in his hands

I'm still looking down at my phone and I can feel the tears threatening to fall 

"Guys" I say looking up from my phone

"Charlie-chan, what happened?" Yuzu asks putting down his container onto the desk 

"He's back" is all I can say

"Romano's escaped"
