This whole time I thought he only felt for me platonically

This whole time I thought he'd fall in love with Evgenia

This whole time I thought he'd laugh in my face when I finally sucked it up to tell him myself

But here we are standing in the kitchen of my house and he tells me he loves me

I don't know what to say

How do I reply to that?

I can feel my heart flutter a little as I small smile tugs it's way to my face and then I'm giggling

"Charlie...you don't feel the same do you? You think I'm a joke now don't you?" he asks quietly, pulling himself away from me slowly

"Yuzu-kun, you don't know how happy I am that you said that" I tell him with a smile the size of the moon on my face

"So you're not mad?" he asks beginning to smile too

"No, you moron of course not" I say, pulling him into a hug yet again

"Does that mean I can kiss you?" he whispers in my ear

"Yes" I simply reply

And I never felt happier

I feel the butterflies in my stomach ignite as I feel him press his soft lips on mine. It almost feels like magic, like all the hurt and pain I've experienced in my life has been washed away and replaced with this. In this moment I feel like my heart has finally found it's home; like the two of us together are untouchable

But nothing lasts forever, and sadly kisses are one of them

"You know, I was always jealous of Pooh-san when he got to kiss you" Yuzu jokes, placing his forehead on mine

"You don't know how long I've been waiting for that" I tell him

"Trust me, I do" he says back

"Now let's do some sappy lovely stuff!" I say, dragging him by the hand and into the family room

"Does this mean, you're my girlfriend?" Yuzu asks

"Only if it means you're my boyfriend" I tell him, snuggling up to his chest as he flips the TV on and pulls up Netflix so we can continue our Walking Dead marathon

"Can I kiss you again?" he asks, turning his attention towards me

"You don't have to ask, Yuzu-kun" I say, pressing my lips to his once again

And like it was meant to happen, the door to the house opens and our favourite spaniard walks through the door with his Japanese girlfriend, Miki

"Hey guys, are you home ye-HOLY SHIT THE SHIP SAILED WITHOUT THEIR CAPTAIN?!" Javi shouts once he rounds the corner and into the family room

Yuzu and I pull away from each other and laugh at Javi's reaction

"Wait, seriously what happened?" Javi asks gob smack

"Javi is this the Yuzulotte ship you told me to join?" Miki asks with a confused smile

"It is! And it sailed! My kids are growing up so fast" Javi says like a giddy school girl

Seems like life can't get any better than this
