ROSS' POV:

I headed to the beach.

It was around 9:50 pm and it was dark out so I took my car.

When I got there, I parked next to a black van.

I heard a scream.

My eyes widened. That was Laura's scream.

I got out, slammed the door and scrambled toward the sound.

I ran around the side of the black van and my jaw dropped at what I saw.

Some guy, probably Dallas, had Laura pinned up against the car and he was beating the crap out of her.

"Hey!" I yelled.

They turned to me and Dallas let go of Laura, letting her crash to the ground and he walked up to me.

"So you're the famous Ross Lynch, huh?"

I nodded.

"Ross," Laura gasped. "What are you doing here?!"

"I checked your phone," I yelled.

She didn't answer cause she was too busy coughing.

"Hang in there, Laura!"

Dallas smirked. "She won't survive," he said slying.

I clenched my fist. "Not if I have anything to say about that!"

I raised my arm and punched him in the face.

He sprung backward and just barely balanced himself. He rubbed his nose and blood dropped down from his left nostril.

He stared at me firmly. "You just messed with the wrong guy."

Before he could do anything, I took my phone out of my pocket and slid it to Laura. "Call 911," I yelled.

She took in into her hand and started dialing.

Before I could focus on Dallas again, he threw a punch at my face and blood dropped down my right nostril.

I pushed him up to his car, pinned him there, and started punching him in the gut, over and over.

I could hear Laura talking on the phone in the background.

"Hello? I'm at the LA beach. This guy was trying to kill me but then my boyfriend came and tried to stop him. Now, they're going at it."

Dallas eyes started closing. I let go of him and he slid down the car unconscious.

"Yes," Laura said. "LA beach. Oh, the guy who tried to kill me has just passed out."

I wiped my forehead in sweat. That was the craziest thing I've done in a while.

"My name? Laura... Laura Marano.

I walked over to her and knealed down next to her.

"Yes, we'll wait here until you arrive. Thank you. Yep."

She hung up and laid the phone down on the curb.

I picked it up and placed it in my pocket.

Laura closed her eyes, trying to catch her breath.

"Hey, take my hand!"

She opened her eyes and took it. I helped her stand.

"Ow," she said crouching forward.

"What's wrong," I asked her.

She shook her head. "Nothing. He just beat me pretty hard."

"Alright," I said looking into her eyes.

She looked down and all of a sudden tears started poaring out of her eyes.

I pulled her in for a hug. "Shh, Laura. It's okay! You're still here."

She cried into my shoulder. "You came," she whimpered.

"Of course I did. I wouldn't just let him kill you."

She kissed my shoulder. "I love you, Ross."

"I love you too.".
