Who are you?

Shard 34

It was Saturday, the day of the study party at Yuu's place. I managed to wake up on time today. I actually ate a decent breakfast this time. Wait, why am I getting so hyped for today? Why did I wake up so early? Why did I not eat bread? This isn't me!

Then all of a sudden my phone beeped. I got angry. This bastard, texting me 24/7. What is his problem? I picked up the phone and looked at the text he sent. It said, "Good morning." I got pissed off. "Don't text to me just to say good morning!" I shouted. Then another text came. It said, "Are you ready yet?"

This bitch is getting on my nerves. I texted him back. When I reached the elevators, there was him standing right there with headphones. "Yo, Shina" Kaito greeted. "Why did you wait for me when I told you not to?!" I shouted at him. "Does that matter now?" Kaito asked. I pushed the elevator button. "N-No" I replied.

We walked all the way to Yuu's place, holding hands. Shit, why am I doing this?! Why am I actually going out with this bastard? Why am I holding hands with him?

"Good morning, Kaito-chan, Shina-chan" Chiho greeted us as she welcome us in. "Sorry for intruding" I said. 

We went to Yuu's room upstairs. "Yuu, we're coming in" Kaito said as he opened the door. My face went blank. Yuu was naked, he was wearing shorts at least. "S-S-Shina.......K-Kaito" Yuu said. I quickly covered my face and turned around. "S-S-S-S-Sorry" I apologized. 

When that incident was over, we were quiet. "Let's pretend nothing ever happened" Yuu started. "It was my fault coming in without knocking" Kaito added. "I-I didn't see anything" I said. Even though I did. 

We started studying. "Let's start off by discussing your strong areas" Kaito said. "I'm good at literature and English" Yuu replied. "I'm good at math, history, and chemistry" I added on. "What about your weak points?" Kaito asked. "I'm weak in biology and history" Yuu replied. "I'm weak in literature and biology" I said. Kaito sighed. "We got a lot to work on, don't we?" Kaito said. I got offended. 

"Who makes you the teacher, huh? Don't look down at us like you can do any better!" I shouted at Kaito. He looked at me.  "Excuse me, but I topped the school last year during exam season. So what about you just listen to what your superior have to say" Kaito replied. I'm this close to slapping him again.

"Alright, let's work on these problems. Each one tells me which area of the subject you are weak in" Kaito explained as he handed us the paper. "It feels like we're playing school" Yuu commented. School? More like hell to me.

Playing school with your friends is fun, but reality, that's torture. I'm going to make Kaito the smart one in here. Shina is the average student and Yuu is "that kind" of student. But Yuu isn't all that bad at literature. He's strong in the ELA version of Japan.
