Chapter 48: Revenge

Claire

Madami pala akong dapat ayusin bilang Claire at bilang Angel. Nag resigned na ako bilang secretary ni Elise and I became one of the shareholders​ of KRC company.

Tinulungan naman ako nila Chloe, Eunice, Sophie, Aeriel, Gretchen and Erica na isurprise ang grannies ko. Hindi kasama si Elise, business matters.

Bumawi naman sa akin si Elise na may surprise din pala sa akin. Pag bukas ko ng pintuan ng condo ay nandoon na sina Mom and Dad. Syempre, gulat na gulat ang mukha nila noong una, they probably couldn't believe that I was alive and kicking. Tinulungan naman ako ni Chloe na magpaliwanag sa nangyari.

Bilang pagtanaw naman ng malaking utang na loob sa pag-kupkop sa akin nila Nanay Tina at Mikay, inilipat sila ng tirahan ni Elise sa exclusive subdivision malapit sa bahay mismo namin and gave scholarship to Mikay to study in Knight of the Royal Academy.

"Yan yung Angel Cruz na sinasabi ko."

"Ah yan ba yung sinasabi mo? Maganda nga, kaso malandi naman pala."

Natigilan ako sa paglalakad ng mapansin kong pinag uusapan ako ng ilang mga employees ng building.

"Oo nga, from secretary to a shareholder? Siguro may himalang ganap mga be.."

Lumapit ako sa kanila para pagsabihan sana sila pero bago pa ako mag salita..

"Anong almusal natin ngayon, chismis ba?" It's Sophie. Judging from the employee's reactions, they probably know who she is.

"Ah, alam ko na, sinong source niyo? Paki sabi sa kanya na super outdated na yung chismis niya, meron akong bago." Sophie almost whispered. Interesado namang nakinig yung mga employee.

"She's not Angel Cruz.. Naaalala niyo ba yung girlfriend dati ni Ms. CEO?" Tanong ni Sophie sa kanila.

"Diba namatay yun sa aksidente?" Tanong naman nung isa.

"Ah oo, naaalala ko na, nagsuot tayo ng color black nung araw na yun." Sabi naman ng isa pa.

"She didn't really die that day, it's complicated to explain but that was her." Sabay upo naman ni Sophie sa isang table.

"Do you guys believe in ghosts?" She added and the employees nodded in response.

"She rose from the dead and she's here to hunt those who are using their mouth to spread gossip about her!" Sophie asserted na para bang nag-kkwento ng ghost story.

"Boo!!" She suddenly shouted na ikina-sigaw naman ng mga employee.

"You are going to fire them, aren't you?" Tanong naman ni Sophie na naka-ngiting lumapit sa akin.

"I was about to, but what you did back there is so damn hilarious!" I chuckled.

"I know right? Maybe I should've stayed there and scared the hell out of them until they resigned." She jokingly added.

"Thanks anyway." I smiled.

"You don't have to." She beamed in response.

Come to think of it, her smile reminds me of someone. Was it Chloe? No, more like Chloe's brother, Sean. But no, I think it's Chloe's mother. Are they cousins on Chloe's mother's side?

Does she have a special relationship with Eunice? If so, was the reason why Eunice fell in love with Chloe because they looked similar?

The way Sophie looked at Eunice is different too but they are just friends, aren't they? Well, my best friend confessed that she liked me before so that is also not an impossible case.
