Rest of the day was spent with us wandering around the forest, among the tall trees that had turned a shade of grey due to the absence of light as the sun had already set.

We had spent nearly three hours, laughing at each other's jokes, me clinging onto his arm tightly for support because I kept tripping over long barks of wood on the ground.

It was when the stench of blood surrounded us that we stopped walking for a second before Jimin decided to follow the source of it.

"Jimin please no" I tried holding him back, tugging at his shirt and every part of him I could reach to stop the man from getting not only himself but me in trouble as well.

"It's human blood " he took a deep breath, before furrowing his brows, covering the tip of his nose with the back of his hand.

" I belive you. Now, let's not go check, please? "

" No " he laughed, "it's going to be fine, trust me"  he winked before rushing forward making me follow him.

" Jimin! I'm serious let's just get back to-" I gasped at the sight.  The ground was damp with blood as if somebody watered the trees around with it. Three bodies, no,  four,  were completely wrecked, arms and legs so out of shape, you wouldn't be able to identify which was what.

Veins and skin torn and ripped off laid on the ground, triggering my reflexes, I nearly puked.

"Ji-"

"shushh" he placed a finger over his mouth, gently pushing me to stand behind him as he stared ahead.

"Oh there you are" he grinned at something or someone.

When I stood on my toes to take a look over his shoulder, I couldn't help but cover my mouth with both hands to muffle a scream. There were wolves, four of those, tall, dark, bearing long, sharp teeth that could pierce even a thick concrete wall.

"Let's run" I mumbled against his back, making him chuckle in response.

"They can run faster than you " he looked over his shoulder, a hand reaching out to ruffle my hair.

" Shit! " I cursed.

" Are you scared? "

It was a sensible question, but to my own surprise, I wasn't. If I was alone or with anybody else, I would be scared to my death. "no"  was my answer.

"Good "

He approached the animal as if he was trying to pet a puppy, getting the bottom of his shoes all bloody and red.

" Jiminie.. "

I stood there watching him, praying for the man as he crouched down and reached out to stroke the fur behind the wolf's ear. He alternated among the four, rubbing and treading his fingers in its fur and the animal which stood tall and strong only leaned down to push its nose against his hand, as if asking for more.

I hugged myself in fear, not knowing what else could be done. A laugh escaped his lips as the largest of those wolves licked across his cheek, something I hadn't seen before. An involuntary smile formed on my face and before I could walk upto him, I felt a sharp pain shoot up the side of my leg, forcing me onto my knees.

"Arhh" I yelped in pain, reaching down to press against the blood now oozing out of my leg.

The next thing I knew, Jimin was beside me, one arm wrapped around my waist, supporting my body, glaring at the grey wolf which shone in the moonlight, whose claws were now coated in my blood.

The expression on his face was something I couldn't clearly see, but what he spoke next sent a shiver down my spine,  "I thought I wouldn't have to kill today, but-"...
