"Not good enough, do it again." Juliana was ruthless, and I never thought I could dislike someone as much as I did her. She ordered me to run yet another lap on the quarter mile track outside of the training hall.

Granted, she was running with me so I wouldn't be alone and she didn't even appear to be breaking a sweat. Instead, I swore she was glistening. So maybe to her this wasn't all that bad. Her thick blond braid was bouncing with each step and the giant red bow at the end swung back and forth. I had intended on asking her about the bow once, but the opportunity never came up. Besides, she was always ordering me to do things anyway so we never had time to chat.

Between the two of us, I was looking pretty awful, I was sure. I knew my hair had half fallen out of the ponytail I had hastily put it into before we started running.

I hated running, but it happened to be the last part of the training regimen she had me do every day. It was evil.

Outside of my disaster of a hair, I was drenched in sweat. The white v-neck was sticking to me, my bare legs were sweaty and I was just about the keel over from exhaustion.

All I wanted was a nice relaxing bath.

I spotted Luke and Gabriel again, who had joined a group that trained outside - most of the other groups had remained in the building. The two of them had elected to take some refreshers on basic self-defense. Their class mostly involved a bunch of district four, five and six men.

I figured though, they were only here to keep an eye on me since this was the only other group outside.

It was also kind of obvious because they were standing at least thirty feet away from the others and weren't even pretending to pay attention to the class at all. Instead, they stood near the track I was running along and silently cheered me on.

They had been shouting earlier, but the instructor of their class yelled at them for being a disturbance and told them to either shut up or to go away. The instructor didn't seem too concerned that they weren't paying attention. Juliana didn't even seem to notice them, even with the shouting.
