Owen's eyes widened fractionally before his lips thinned. "What do you remember?"
I brought my hand to my head and glanced down, all this memory crap was beginning to give me a headache.
I was also suddenly aware that he and I were both naked. Still. After the excitement of everything else that had been happening, it had completely slipped my mind.
"Not much," I admitted to him as I averted my eyes away from anything... interesting. The only reason I wasn't running screaming from the room at this very moment was because this conversation was important. "I just remember being somewhere scary, and you were there."
His finger touched under my chin and forced my head to look up back up in order to meet his gaze. "...and?"

"I remember that you promised you wouldn't use your ability on me, and that I knew you. Just that. I don't remember why..." I paused, looking into his eyes was much less distracting, and I suddenly recalled the dream that I had had when I first arrived at the Capital.
At the time, I had thought it was a dream. Didn't I?
"No, I remember bits and pieces of the night you went away too... you said that I wasn't alone. Right?"
His eyes softened with concern, but I could sense an underlying sense of anxiety there. "Are you alright?"
I looked at him, not sure what he meant.
"Are you angry that we didn't keep our promise to you?" He asked. "Aren't you angry with me, because I didn't tell you earlier?"
Angry?
I was currently going through a lot of emotions. I was confused, sad... and disappointed, a bit. Upset that I didn't remember more, but at the same time I could admit that I was scared too.
