*Therapy (ReidxReader) Part 2

You'd been seeing Spencer for a few months now. As a date for a few weeks.

"Spencer?" you asked. You were running your fingers through his hair.

"Mmhmm?"

"Is this... okay?"

"Playing with my hair? Yeah-"

"No, I mean us. Is- is this... unprofessional?"

Spencer sat up and faced you. "Perhaps. Does that bother you?"

You shrugged but refused to make eye contact. "I just, I don't know. Is this allowed?"

"I suppose it is a conflict of interests. Why?"

"Because..." You took a breath. "Because I don't think we can keep doing this."

Spencer looked at you with his puppy eyes. "We- we can make it work!"

"I know we can. But we're crossing lines that we shouldn't cross."

Spencer wanted to argue but he knew you were right. "I understand." He stood up and was about to leave your apartment.

"Wait! Spencer, that's not what I meant!"

Spencer looked back at you with confusion. "But you just sai- oh. OH!" he realized.

"Uh huh. I think we need to stop seeing each other, Dr. Reid."

"I completely understand."

"Our relationship as simply gotten out of hand."

"Indeed."

You giggled. "If it's not too sore of a subject, would you mind helping me find a new therapist?"

"Only if you promise to keep that new boyfriend of yours. You two seem perfect for each other."

You smiled. "Oh, we are."

Spencer beamed back at you. He took a few steps and pulled you into his chest. "I love you, y/n."

"I love you too, Spencer. Please don't leave me."

"Never," he assures.
